Last night Check Six booked their place in the finals with a stunning victory over reigining Eurocup champions Speedlink. Check Six are really gunning for top spot at the moment, having last week taken on former EC champions Dignitas, now pulling off an impressive display against the Germans.
Prior to that TeK-9 had already booked their place in the playoffs. The team who were expected to crash out of the EuroCyo quite quickly once their exams had begun have now pulled off stunning victories over DigitalMind and Northern Darnkess in a run of form that has seen them earn a place at the Lan Finals against all the odds.
Last Chance Saloon Speedlink, the EC X winners under the Ocrana tag in CoD1 and reigning EC CoD2 champions got a rude awakening as Check Six raised their game and knocked them into the losers bracket. They now face an unpredictable DigitalMind side in the final online EuroCup match.
Speedlink & DigitalMind must fight it out knowing the loser goes away empty handed and the winner will have scraped their way into the EC lan finals!
