The summer series is still in progress but this does not stop us from announcing the third official ESL Qualifier Cup to compete in the Falls International Premiership Series. Get your team ready and take one of the 16 slots in the upcoming cup for yourself.
The international IPS Qualifier will be played in a single elimination bracket. The teams can signup until 11.08.2006.
Who is going to choose the 16 Teams
The 16 teams will be chosen by their latest stability and achievements in the last ESL cups and in other leagues. Every clan can prove itself by playing the cups running in the next days and weeks.
Maps
The iTGs dutch host stewie, ETTV king arni and Crossfires Nellie will support us in selecting the 7th map of the cup.
It will be totally new or a common classic map: Warbell, SW Fueldump or Snatch2. In addition to one of these maps, we have the following maps in our pool:
Adlernest, Braundorf, Frostbite, SW Goldrush TE, Würzburg Radar, Supply Depot 2.
Rounds and Maps
The maps will be forced for each round. You will be able to challenge your opponent in a given time. Round 1: 14.08. - 20.08.2006, Maps: [tba], SW Goldrush TE Round 2: 21.08. - 27.08.2006, Maps: Adlernest, Würzburg Radar Round 3: 28.08. - 03.09.2006, Maps: Braundorf, SupplyDepot2 Round 4: 04.09. - 10.09.2006, Maps: [tba], Frostbite
Line up changes
Line up changes during the cup are not allowed and only 2 new additions to your lineup are possible before the first stage of the IPS. We want to have stable teams with a stable future for ET. It is an important rule and if you need some help or have any question, just message us in IRC #esl.et.
Please remember that Czech and German teams must use their national qualifier and will not be accepted here!

As it was published in the first news, we will not invite ANY team to the IPS Cup itself. Everyone has to play a qualifier.
If you already play the international 6on6 Free For All Summer Cup, you can sign up here too, but remember you can also gain a slot by winning the FFA cup or playing successfull in it to get one of the 3 invites.
