Its time for the information you've all been waiting for! Yes after many many questions about when the information about the Quakelive tournament will take place it is the moment you've all been waiting for! UPDATE - Signups for the tournament close on Sunday at 21:00 CET. The tournament is capped at 32 players!
How to Signup - To signup for the Quakelive tournament at CIC7 you need to send €10 to the CF Paypal account (stuart at quadv dot com) with your gamer name. In order to signup you must be a CF community member. The qualifying criteria for this that you have one of the following: Post regularly on CF or Playing in CIC7 or Have played at a previous CC event or Have an account 18 months or more old. If you are not sure whether you qualify simply post below. Signups are limited to 32, and its first come first serve!
Prizes - 1st Place Intel Core i7 975 (RRP $1000) 2nd Place - Intel Core i7 870 (RRP $600)
Basic Rules - We will be following the basics of the IEM ruleset. The map list will be dm6, dm13, t7, t9, ztn. The servers will be online. We havent decided the exact format yet as there are some complications with player availability and such, but we will limit it to 32 players, at the moment the format is Single Elimination but that could change to get more games later on. More info on this will follow.

maybe we should invite cypher, it's gna be the same thing :D
But I guess It depends on your abilities. IE coming from ET you should have a decent hitscan tracking (shaft + rail), and you can probably time & move decently, so you have less to learn and should focus on positionning, strategy, prediction weapons, and moves (yes I put it twice ;))
why would someone "whos not good at all" be so eager to come to cf community event that he gets tickets so much in advance
also his register date is about same as when u announced QL on CIEC7 :D

I thought it was very clear from the beginning that the event is only for "amateurs" who have been CF members for some time already
not planning to participate myself anyway though cos I wouldn't stand a chance, but this exception just seems pretty stupid if silw really is as good as the impression of him I'm getting here is

I mean, wolfplayer.pl can be either tremendously skilled due to hax(much likely), have some very great fluke(least likely) or suck donkeydick with his ass(most likely).
All I said that it's pretty easy to find out who you have played against (unless you have multiple fakenick accounts like most considered good/known do) and statistically how well you performed versus then, I did not even bother to look at your ql acc, I just wanted to state the obvious while you went into evasive action mode, mister troll.

It was silw's fault.
The rule was that only CF members are allowed to play since the anouncement, he just failed to read it or tried to trick one.
It was nice to let him play eventho he wasn't allowed to rule-wise, but since everybody is against it, it's just fair to remove him.
Just a theory. :P
