2 Different Nationscup games

It’s not only CIEC games tonight, but in between these awesome and challenging play-offs we also got 2 Nationscup matches going on. With one of them being ‘for the honor only’ while the other game can actually still make a difference for a play off, the evening won’t get less exciting on it!

The start will be by the final game in Group G, between Russia and Lithuania. This game will just be for the honor, seeing as both teams don’t have a chance to qualify themselves for the play offs anymore. With Russia boosting a promising line up, it might be disappointing (and some may say unexpected) that they lost versus Czech Republic, but it won’t be unexpected if they win tonight. Their opponents, Lithuania, has had a hard 1st time in the Nationscup. After gloriously qualifying, they’ve lost all matches and it will be the question whether they can bring the power up to make a final showdown.

The other game that is featured tonight will be less about the honor, but more about a play off spot, which is going between Spain and Hungary in Group H. Both teams are on an equal score at the time being with scoring a win versus Italy and losing versus the almighty Finland. Though up to now only Spain managed to take a map from the fins, which makes them slightly more favorites for the win tonight. But the odds are small and even, Hungary featuring a line up which has been playing together over several NC’s and of whom we may expect a good level of teamwork. This game can be anyone’s game, so it’s just up to the shape and atmosphere of both teams tonight, which can swing this game anyway.
