bah cod4
+ET please :D
Vita Nova is CoD4 only afaik, a league site created by the community to replace the CB&ESL ones.
Parent
Just so you are aware Vita Nova is not a league at all.
Parent
We don't care about cod4. Though I heard there's an ET lan in antwerp in belgium
Belgium is in Antwerp?
Parent
Then filter COD4 out if you don't care : )
Parent
`yups, true

FiF staat er in het thuisland!

& the prizepot will be The prizepot is

mmm?

Anyways, I don't play CoD
32 * 350 = 11.200
prize money = 10.000
That's right, because everything else is free :D
Parent
34 * 250 = 8500
prizemoney= 5000

(CiC7) :p
Parent
it is not allowed to say anything against prize money and entry fee of crossfire lans! flyindj did it at one of the first crossfire lans and got flamed massively afterwards :D
Parent
sick lan but rather short notice for orgs
7 weeks isn't bad.
Parent
take in to account, iseries is coming up soon so most will be rather short for money
Parent
Yeah but whether this LAN is in 7 weeks or 17 weeks will make no difference for a lot of teams.
Parent
yes it does :D
Parent
They'll spend the same amount of money, though.
Parent
point being flights from the uk/holland to Copenhagen are far from cheap and neither is staying there, enterance isnt all the cheap either it does end up adding up to a fair amount and with how close iseries is now and that cic7 has just gone. its a fair bit of money for orgs / teams to be able to pay out. Im not taking anything away from the event, i think that anything that keeps cod going is amazing but its just awkward timing.
Parent
Not all orgs give full support. Infused, for example, don't : )

e: Infact, I think only Dignitas, fnatic & Reason give full support to their cod4 teams.
Parent
1, infused dont even have a cod team currently and probably wont for that event.
2, infused were a amazing org and provided full support for all of the lans i played with them at.
3, just read tek9 if you think the times are far from a issue.
Parent
The times are fine, people on tek9 are whining just like they normally do (same as this website).

Also, I wasn't taking a dig at Infused so don't get defensive, secondly you must have been part of the only team to get full support from them ^^
Parent
the people "whining" on the forums are the ones who will probably be attending the event so its not just whine, its valid input (which is different to this website).

As i said, not taking anything away from the event but for 32teams in 8 weeks is a hard thing to do, even without iseries being so close.
Parent
I'm sure it'll get the turnout it needs.
Parent
What does it matter where the money comes from? Fact is, the earlier you can book your tickets, the cheaper they will be.
Parent
Yeah but not many orgs provide full support like that :P
Parent
Seem to forget Power, TLR, My own team NCE and tons more :P

PS: Edit the stuff I told you!!!
