We have reached the second round of group games and there are three games up tonight where some teams need points to have a good chance to stay in the cup. Here are the games played and predictions from Team UK captain dusty:
First up and the featured cam game tonight is Germany vs. Belgium - in a must win game for the Belgians to stand a good chance of going through to the playoffs, the pressure is on syL and team captain edge to pull their team through. Standing in their way though are phate and the rest of the active German lineup - this should be a top game!
Starting a little later, and initially being bot-cammed will be Finland vs. Hungary. After a shaky start Finland came back for a dramatic victory and Sipperi and friends will be psyched up for a game they know could take them into the playoffs. Hungary on the other hand will be seen as a big upset if they failed to get into the playoffs, and after losing their first game to Team NL 2-1 they have to get a result here to stand any chance of a playoff spot.
Our late game tonight is Netherlands vs. Estonia. Estonia came out of a tough battle with Finland but went down defeated, they hope to turn things around in this game where they will need some points to survive, ahead of them lies probably the dark horse of the tournament in the NL where most dont see them making the playoffs let alone anything else - they will be out to prove their doubters wrong and after a big vicotory against Hungary they are on course to make the playoffs with a win in this game.
