k1llsen might suprise :}
Artosis shoutcasting and Day9 playing woulda been better but I won't complain =) Lucifron, White Ra, and Strelok gonna roll SC2 :D
Good prediction, none of them passed the group stage ^^
Parent
so apparently SC2 is as different from SC as CSS is from CS 1.6 ;d
Parent
1. Rapha
2. Cooller
3. Strenx
thought you are going to win this!
Parent
How is it sponsored by both intel, and asus, and the prize purse is still quite low? They make more than that in a day.
When having in mind that Intel is one of the worlds richest corporations, that's indeed very odd.
Parent
it seems that I will have a lot of matches to watch when I get back from vacation :D
top3: av3k/Cooller/rapha

1st. IdrA
2nd. White-Ra
3rd. dimaga/LucifroN7/TLO
IdrA won't win
Parent
i bet some terran will win... prolly TLO... maybe Dimaga if he already plays Terran, he recently said he gonna switch to it.
Parent
make some sc2 coverage for cf !
Parent
Idra? Didn't seem very strong vs good terran players.
Parent
he keeps saying terran is overpowered :D
Parent
He seems to fear siege tank drops :D I fear protos void ray spam. Fucking imba.
Parent
IdrA says there is always possibility to lose against one base terran builds, it doesnt metter how much better you are than your opponent :D. Anyway, do you wanna play some 1v1 sometimes?
Parent
Sure, im not very good but lets give it a shot. [email protected]
Won't be avi before next monday tho :)
Parent
I aint good either :P
Parent
it seems there'll be around 30 minute delay :/
Group A & = groups of death!
QuoteAccording to unidentified internal source (we have a cloaked spy!), the event is delayed until 13CEST.

:E

in the meantime you should check this epic trailer for Event Horizon 4
Damn...4 man plasma climb!
Parent
ezbash for white-ra
changed my oppinion further down :P
Parent
12:52 MartijnMumbles: anyway
12:52 poNjeh: *drumroll*
12:52 MartijnMumbles: because of the delays at the event, Quake Live and SC2 WILL overlap
12:52 MartijnMumbles: meaning today, we're going to have sc2 on ESL tv and Quake Live on glhf.tv
12:53 MartijnMumbles: we might catch 1 sc2 game at the end
12:53 MartijnMumbles: HOWEVER
12:53 MartijnMumbles: we will be getting the replays of the matches we're scheduled to cast

That was just said at the glhf.tv stream.

Meh.
It iis not the start of the ESL Intel Extreme Masters Season V, but the second global challenge. the first one was some weeks ago in Shanghai.

Last year the Intel Extreme Masters Season IV started at gamescom in Cologne, with Wladimir Klitschko opening the new season.
Cooller & white-ra gonna roll them all
this is very interesting. tell me more.
don't be dissin' me homie
Parent
i am/was extremely interested, i promise :P
Parent

Parent

Parent

Parent
Cooller to win =)

What's up with prozac this time btw? :D
I missed the whole of fucking QCON because my net is fucked atm and now I'm missing this because this laptop im on is from the fucking stone age and i cant even run the stream without it constantly stopping and starting....

I heard prozac got booted out for changing clothes at his PC (at QCON obviously) wtf =D
Parent
nudity aint allowed in the states!!!!
Parent
that's the stream being shit
Parent
Has anyone been watching the stream through VLC? If so, please tell me how, I only get sound.
im just watching it via firefox
Parent
I mean the GLHF.tv stream, ESL TV is ok :}
Parent
I'm not getting any video, audio only :/

Do I need to update or what?
Parent
I can't help you with that, I guess you could try updating :/
Parent
tlo is going to win this !
wtf, slasher claiming no one is playing ET, community mad now plox?
wtf, slasher claiming no one is playing ET, community mad now plox?
who the fuck is slasher?
A monotone muppet :o)
Parent
United States of Americaslasher hmm
go cooller!!
Tarson gonna take it
ezbash for TLO
5 terran 3 zerg :D?
Idra is gona win the Starcraft and DaHang will win the qlive!
DaHang will definitely NOT win.
Parent
would be really fuckin crazy if he did :D
Parent
hmmm so ez for av3k
go stenx, rapha, and dahang :D
Hmm, which match to watch?

It's always nice to spec av3k but I think he'll make short work of noctis. K1llsen vs strenx on the other hand should be a pretty tight game, albeit not with top contenders for the title imo.
Would be funny if it will be a ZvZ Final, after all the ZvT Imba whine :D
lmao@bugs
TheLittleOne 2 - 3 MorroW

CANT BE! Oo
its a sad day!
Parent
can't belive it :'/ maybe he should play random again, since he is playing terran, he is not that intresting to follow, but still an amazing player
Parent
Hmm, wanted to watch, but it asks to dl some random shit onto my pc. Too bad.
that "random shit" happens to be possibly the best tool for streaming

if it's octoshape you're talking about
Parent
they showing fucking civ5 during quake game????
the game isn't on but yeah it's damn stupid to interrupt the game when they could show it right after

dimaga and cooller gonna roll
how could cooller loose that?
nice from k1llsen, and cooller mad :)
are there any VODs for todays ql games? can't find any :<
Morrow will take it...

After defeating TLO and then defeating dimaga
He deserve's to win this Gamescon

So my money on him!

Still TLO showed how good he was against the korean player NaDa just epic
clr rapha t9 just awesome ending XD
rapha decided he should take the risk I think, cooller had mapcontrol anyway so he had little to lose since he was 2-0 up and could lose the map.

Awesome nonetheless :)
Parent
MorroW vs idrA in the SC2 final and MorroW winning it :).
I think even if Dimaga would qualifiy to the final he wouldn't stand against idrA.
They are both gr8 zerg players, but seeing some of their previous matches idrA wins at macro.
hope morrow takes it as well (:
Parent
as expected no? :D
Parent
dimaga lost his domination now? :<
k1llsen skillboost
I gave him some of my demo's.
Parent
killsen going to get smashed :(
not if his rail is on! D:
Parent
that kilsen guy is kinda all aim no brain :S
please, you don't beat rapha or av3k with aim alone
Parent
4th map of rapha vs killsen is a proof how much aim only he is :-)
Parent
yo duumed any VOD of final and for bronze? thanks in advance
Parent
omfg

I overslept 3 hours.

:((
heheeheh :P
Parent
amazing quake final.. just amazing
VOD OF FINAL OR GTFO

ty
Dimaga 3rd Tarson 4th well deserved for dimaga!
i hope idra will take it
i hope idra lose and rage
Parent
indeed, he deserves to be punished :)
Parent
lol Idra losed.

Morrow is kinda lucky!
Since he didn't should be there at all:P!
but morrow played good
Parent
The game still needs abit more tweaking though.
Parent
in fucking deed, terran is just too overpowered :/
Parent
Exactly, no protoss anywhere near the finals.
And the only reason those zerg players reached the final and semi-final is because Dimaga and Idra played really impressive and abused every small piece of advantage they had over other races.
Parent
top8 5terrans 3zerg. The difference in skill between Idra and the rest is just huge. Idra has played only vs terran trough playoff stage and everytime players tried to chees him. Even Morrow was going for early repears 3 of 4 games cos he knew he has no chances in longer game againt Idra
Parent
Couldn't agree more :)
Parent
Good stuff duumed!
thanks, too bad I don't know anything about starcraft :X
Parent
Me neither, np4me :)
Parent
