The Alienware Backpacking Challenge Final Results

It's been a long and exciting journey and after seven weeks of travelling, blogging and crossing Europe we have reached the conclusion of the Alienware Backpacking Challenge.

The time has come to announce the winner. Who will walk away with $5,000 and an Alienware M11x? And without further ado, the winner is...


Congratulations to Livia for winning the Alienware Backpacking Challenge. Throughout the challenge, Livia proved herself to be a versatile contestant and racked up the challenge wins. However the end result was far closer than expected, with both Alasdair and Matthijs coming very close to beating her, with excellent performances in the global poll. Overall the difference was only 2% between Livia and Matthijs, who became the honourful runner up of this competition, and Alasdair completes the top 3. Ben finishes last but can also look back at a great summer experience.
