Game developer, Splash Damage have today announced that they will be teaming up with the World Cyber Games executives and will be sending an American team to the event with their airtravel and hotel provided by the WCG organisation. As you may have read on Crossfire previously, Quakewars Online is one of this year's promotional games that is being featured at the WCG 2010 Finals in Los Angelos.
As the Asian and European slots have already been filled, this left Splash Damage with only to send an American team. So for those of you who used to play Enemy Territory: Quake Wars in America, then this is a great opportunity for you.
Basic Game Rules
Example Match 1

Example Match 2

The World Cyber Games take place between September 30th & October 3rd, so there's really not a lot of time to get your team submissions in. If you're interested, then leave a reply at this news post on the Splash Damage website.
Good luck.

As the Asian and European slots have already been filled, this left Splash Damage with only to send an American team. So for those of you who used to play Enemy Territory: Quake Wars in America, then this is a great opportunity for you.
Basic Game Rules
- Teams take turns playing GDF and Strogg, once each on same map
- The team finishing all three objectives faster is selected the winner
- If the teams have the exact same time, then other methods are used to determine winner
Example Match 1
VoDs: http://kr.wcg.com/TV/TV_play.asp?keyno=C10081310001&index=200 & http://kr.wcg.com/TV/TV_play.asp?keyno=C10081310002&index=200
- Objectives: GDF to build EMP scrambler, destroy sewer entrance, hack sewer controls
- In the first game, the team playing the GDF side finished all three missions, but in the second, the GDF side could not even complete the first mission, thus the team playing the GDF side first was selected winner
Example Match 2
VoDs: http://kr.wcg.com/TV/TV_play.asp?keyno=C10082010002&index=200 & http://kr.wcg.com/TV/TV_play.asp?keyno=C10082010012&index=200
- Missions: Strogg team to destroy signal scrambler generator, build mining laser, destroy bio-scanner
- Same as the 1st match, the team playing the Strogg side first completed all three missions, while the opponent couldn’t finish even 1

... and one european team would be great, they could rule the competition :P
I'm talking about getting keys for people to play in a EU cup...
So that game is activ again/still?
hope to play it once again , game was not that bad imo
http://tlr-etqw.tourney.cc/
Have yet to try it properly, should be enough people in TGT to get a team running. Will you be hosting more of those ET:QW tournies? :)
would be pretty easy for them :-))
TEAM HOT? THEY'RE TERRIBLE!
gotta be some huge value in attending that tourney, who the hell is playing for EU? I asume there will be some ex-u5/bL guys playing for US and they'll probably breeze through the competition.
those are the only two US teams I know, I blame wizzel, he was the one bragging about bloodline being a topteam in the US.
games a joke, but a trip to LA would be fun
people making W:ET with a better graphic when there is already quakewars that satisfies already all the requests of more graphic details
many years are past but it's still a kick ass grapic game
(too bad for the vehicles)
