ESL Fall 2010

We are pleased to announce our Fall cups. The system will change a bit from the previous seasons. The previous Fall leagues were independent from another leagues. This time we will link Fall and Winter leagues in one. Teams that will play in the Fall season and get a good place, will have a better seeding in the Winter Leagues. So, signup if you want to get in the right division in the Winter Leagues!

First of all, let's see what has changed:

• This time, Fall will be cups only, separated by divisions with a bracket without groupstage.
  
• There will NOT be premium prize in these cups
  
• These cups, may grant a better seeding in the Winter League (Groupstage + Playoffs as usual).
  
• Each Fall Cup bracket is with Lower Bracket and has just 8 slots.
  
• Don't forget, SLAC is mandatory. Only players with registered SLAC id's are allowed to play.
  
• Just in the Winter League there will be premium prizes, and not in these Fall cups.

Once this is mentioned, we will reveal the reasons in switching to this system:

• We will reduce the amount of noshows, due we will have cups until the end of November, and not a whole Group-Stage.
  
• The Winter League signup period will start when the Fall cups have reached the last round
  
• The Winter League (will be announced later) will consist on Group-Stage and Playoffs Stage
