The current Clanbase EuroCup is running and the ESL Major Series is fully underway and I am about to start a short writeup for the up-and-coming games. With the recent released October ranking some teams have to stand up for their position and some others can enhance their value by winning the fight with an exciting three mapper.
Whether or not I am sure that the top of the top will bring a good performance on our ETTv screen.
The first game I want to talk about is the clash between Aero Gaming and ECW right at 21.00 CET on Bremen_b3 and sw_Goldrush_te. The latter is placed one position above or to say it in other words - there are just 9 points between their Top10 ranking positions. Aero and ECW both got superb aimers and great strategists and with Lun4t1C and teKoa playing against each other this game is somehow like a local derby.
By comparing their lineups one can say they are well-balanced - Wiaderko and Jere will fight it out for the riflesticks, perfo and teKoa will try to overwhelm Lun4t1C and uNDEAd and toxic will attempt to surprise the opponent by using secret tactics. And to make it even more exciting this game will decide about the groupwinner and runner up for the EuroCup groupstage.
Prediction: I am more than sure that this match will need a third map - but I can`t give an exact prediction - 4:2 or vice versa!
Next to it we got Gamerz-Connexion against Epsilon as well at 21.00 CET with the same maps. This game looks onesided - at least on paper! Epsilon is not just first placed in the October ranking but also leading their group with two clear 4:0 victories against their last EuroCup counterparties, namely Giants and TAG. The Spanish all-star team around Winghaven and Gengis have to establish a surpassing performance to gain an important win. And even if done so the Connexion is in need of TAG`s help to survive to the playoffs. So it is very unlikely to see another Spanish miracle after the World Cup.
Prediction: 4:0 for Epsilon
Some might say OVERLOAd against SPEEDLINK is not worth watching because both teams got no chance of qualifying for the EC Playoffs - but I would say this fact just gives this game an extra twist. According to the GamesTV.org page the fight will start around 21.00 CET and the odds are in favor of Speedlink. Unfortunately the lineups are not really sure and I got no contact to the teamcaptains to get a confirmation for their final roster but I feel confident that we will see a close and exciting match regardless which ten people are playing. Personally I hope that potter is playing because he is the embodiment of "old school".
Prediction: 2:4 for Speedlink
Okey, that`s it for now. In case you don`t like the mentioned games head over to the GamesTV.org page and browse through the schedule. Here are more highlights for the lazy ones: MVP vs. STH, 1st Cave vs. Squad.ee, Aero vs. Highbot or Giants Gaming vs. TAG to name just a few!

I wouldn't rule out sth just like that - they still have the chance to pass groups.
Server will be added to the news post + the GTV page so tune in tonight! =)
