Heaven Media Game Of The Year Competition

With the end of the year hurtling towards us, Heaven Media's Game of The Year vote is ready to go, where gamers of all denominations will have their say on what was the best game of 2010.
It seems we're feeling festive too... We're giving people who vote a chance to win the top of the range PC components in the Gaming Heaven benchmark system. All you have to do is cast your vote and your name is entered into the draw that will be made sometime shortly after December 31st.

The full details are as follows:

QuoteIt's that time of year again when Heaven Media visitors vote on their favourite game and in the process get the chance to win some seriously cool hardware. This year we have streamlined the process a little and are sure that the winner will be nothing short of ecstatic with the prize. So what is that prize?

Well, with the help of manufacturers such as Corsair, Intel and ASRock we have gathered together components which, when combined, will create a system which is near identical to our main benchmarking system. That includes the 600T case, AX Series Gold Certified PSU, Force Series SSD, H70 liquid cooler and DDR3 from Corsair. Added to those are the recently released NVIDIA GTX 580, an X58 motherboard with SATA3/USB3 and the choice of either a Core i7-975 Extreme Edition or Core i7-970 six core CPU to put in it. Of course everyone needs some storage so Heaven Media will top that off with a 1TB SATA drive.

As if that wasn't already enough our good friends at Razer have also said they will throw in a bundle of high quality gaming gear which includes the DeathAdder mouse, Arctosa keyboard, Carcharias headset and Goliathus gaming surface.

We will assemble the system for the winner and cover shipping costs, anywhere in the world, for delivery in January 2011. Note: A display will not be provided.

Remember, if you don't win you can still pick up the same Hardware Heaven award winning components from retailers in the UK and USA.

So how do you enter? Simple, choose which of the following games is your favourite from 2010, select it in the options, enter your name, email address and location and click submit. Everyone who makes a submission is entered into the competition which runs from November 30th 2010 to December 31st 2010 4pm UK time.

The vote takes place at sister site Hardware Heaven and can be reached by the link below.

QuoteHeaven Media are not responsible for any stress caused by trying to win this competition. The final decision is the final decision, thats why its called the final decision, so we want to see no whinging, bitching or claims of "OMG, I never win I am a loser, feel sorry for me I hope you all die" when it's over. Finally, we may choose to send you a copy of our monthly newsletter which contains links to the latest competitions and reviews and can be opted out of.

Really? "*may choose*"? To be quite honest, I'd prefer to have a checkbox on the page, rather than have to deal with a message I'm not too interested in. Also, I notice there's no privacy statement, does this mean Heaven Media has plans to sell/share our information?

Not that I mean to be attacking you guys, but I'd rather be careful than have my mailbox full of spam. :)

Degenerates putting R.U.S.E. on the list and NOT putting Heavy Rain on the list. :DD Because RUSE was a lot better, and a lot more popular and discussed and anticipated...
Starcraft 2 everything else would be strange
