Battle For Berlin is a fully prized and sponsored North American RtCW tournament for the community by the community. The tournament will be starting in early November, but team registration is open now. The tournament format will be a double elimination 3v3. There will be 32 teams of 3-5, 3 starters and 2 backups.
With an array of sponsors, including NewBreed Hosting, CafePress, Radio iTG, Filanthropy, and Chaos Productions all putting their resources towards this great event. We have a dedicated team of admins, graphic designers, video editers, and shoutcasters working to bring this together.
With forums for the community to post on topics such as map selection, cvar changes, prize inquiries, sponsorship ideas, and more! BFB really want the community to get involved and show us the best direction to take this event. The forums can be found here.
BFB has announced some of the finalized prizes posted on the site. The prizes thus far are as follows:
1st: 3 Razer Diamonback Mice & 3 Black Original IceMats 2nd: 3 Logitech Extreme Gaming Headsets & 3 Razer Baseball Caps 3rd: 3 CafePress Custom Battle For Berlin Mousepads
BFB also states they are most likely going to add additional prizes to the list, but at the moment the prize pool is around $400.
