Last night two matches were played between last season's champions, Finland, and the recently qualified Ukraine. At the same time the nation which is always at fault played Slovenia.
Tonight the Czech Republic will face Slovakia.

Finland versus Ukraine – 4:0
The match was supposed to be played last Sunday, but Ukraine used their wildcard and rescheduled the match.
Finland, as expected, walked all over Ukraine and dominated throughout the game.

Canada versus Slovenia – 4:2
Like the Ukrainians, the match was supposed to be played last Sunday, but Slovenia used their wildcard.
But unlike the match mentioned above; the game was not one- sided as Canada encountered some difficulties against Slovenia. Whether the cause of such troubles was just merely 'goofing around', as Rossko said, or more serious problems - remains unanswered. One thing is certain: Canada will have to play at their best in order to beat Poland next week.

Czech Republic versus Slovakia
Tonight, 21:00CET sharp, the Czech Republic will face Slovakia for their second matchweek game. Based upon the Czech's previous achievements and Slovakia's performance last week versus the UK, the Czechs are expected to win tonight.
