Korea, Republic ofMoon attacks Korea, Republic ofAces third base but Korea, Republic ofAces stalkers are all over on the other side of the map, Korea, Republic ofMoon kills off Korea, Republic ofAces colossi but when Korea, Republic ofAces stalkers get there Korea, Republic ofMoon loses his army to the blink stalkers, Korea, Republic ofAce goes for the counter attack but Korea, Republic ofMoon sends in a lot of roaches into Korea, Republic ofAces bases, it looks like it will be a base trade but with newly warped in stalkers and a colossus Korea, Republic ofAce kills off half of the roaches as the other half retreats back, Korea, Republic ofAce kills off Korea, Republic ofMoon third and fourth base, and then scouts Korea, Republic ofMoons fifth base and kills that off, Korea, Republic ofMoon on 2 bases after rebuilding his third, Korea, Republic ofAce and Korea, Republic ofMoon collide in the middle of the map, Korea, Republic ofAces superior army of Stalkers, Colossi and sentries, killing off Korea, Republic ofMoons tiny army, Korea, Republic ofAce in a huge lead and one last push causes Korea, Republic ofMoon to GG, Korea, Republic ofAce wins the IEM World Championship.

The first IEM5 World Championship matches have just kicked off, and without HLTV service for at least the first rounds.

FUCKING MISSED HER AS WELL!! :(
Parent
Hmm, I arrived around 1 in the afternoon on friday, and the first thing we did was check out the bar, and the bar was at the same place as the podium(assuming she played on the podium). Cant believe I didnt see her
Parent
Man.. Poor you :(

I'D FUCKING KILL SOMEONE TO BANG THAT CHICK
Parent
I wouldnt, I would just start talking her, bet she never met a gamer like me ;)
Parent
"like me"

??:DD??
Parent
jelly much?
Parent
why is it during the week?
cause it will be live @ cebit
Parent
nice write up rock. idra will take it !
Bad thing about idra leaving the GSL is that now all the American/EU cups he attends won't have as much competition.
Everyone there is either GSL or TSL
Parent
And soon to come MGL+NASL!!
Parent
They're all good players (well, I've seen 9/10ths of them play, not all of them), but think idra is the best player in that bunch (and most previous EU/USA tournament lineups I've seen before). For instance I'd say sjow is fairly overrated in comparison to the GSL top players.

Not to say he can't be beaten by any of them.
Parent
dont think anyonne performed on his level tho :D the koreans are code a. and well. the rest foreigners :D

Where's your god now, HoN-lovers/LoL-haters?!?
is that rly the biggest pricepool LoL has ever had? xDDDDDDDDDDD

sup son
http://www.gosugamers.net/hon/images/logos/honworldcupsoccer1.jpg
now gtfo
Parent
i'm not talking about the pricepool, fool
Parent
gtfo with ur fkin shit lol..
LoL is only a side-tournament
Parent
i just dont get why lol & not hon ..
hon is obviously mode viable competatively, lol is too noobfriendly
Parent
I dont know the reasons but only thing i know LoL wasn't planned at first, but came in later as a side-event
Parent
LoL, hon nerds mad cuz there's no newerth on IEM.
ofc were pissed..
@ dreamhack HoN had more prizepool money then CS 1.6
where is HoN in this tourney?? thats fkin bs man
Parent
don't be mad, applesauce. i wasn't mad when hon was at dreamhack and you're mad cuz lol is on iem. that's mad, man.
Parent
ive played LoL as well & from my experience its unbalanced like hell
i dont get why such a noobfriendly game like LoL gets to be in IEM & why a game like HoN doesnt..
in HoN u have a mode thats called "casual mode", its basicly like LoL, no denies, u dont lose money when u die, etc etc ..
Parent
Quotei dont get why such a game

have you missed big tournaments with huge games like halo, wow, and mobile phone racing games? whoever pays, plays

there always will be worse (or lesser, with lol as prime example of that) games played as long as there are companies behind them
Parent
& that saddens me :'(
Parent
Halo & WoW do at least have a player base behind them to justify their inclusive, mobile phone games are always hilarious.
Parent
Noone gives a fuck about some nerd game called HOn or lOL, get the fuck out please.
Parent
LoL is bigger obviously.
Parent
bigger cuz its free, not better
Parent
LoL is better and bigger ofc. It makes you mad cos a free game is better than HoN.
Parent
competatively HoN is better, no doubt about that..
LoL gets played more cuz its free & for casuals
HoN is for players that want to be competative
so yes, i am mad cuz LoL gets a pricepool while its unbalanced as fuck in competative play
Parent
Unbalanced? How much did you play it to say it's unbalanced?
And you probably dont know shit about LoL competitive play ;)
Parent
im not gonna start arguing here, dota 2 will be better then both
& ppl that played LoL will be shit at it
Parent
You're overrating hon players ;)
Parent
hon is more like dota than lol ..
Parent
And you said LoL players will be shit at it. It's not that hard to get used to that kind of game.
Parent
lol @ quakelive group b
and i have no holidays - lefu
nerds gonna get rolled
lol>hon

i actually dont play both games, i just say this to piss of applesauce, since he;s obv the only one who cares alot :D
I have no clue about 1.6 but why theres mouz missing :o? arent they good anymore?
they failed at the european championships, 1 draw 4 losses
Parent
when cyx died it pretty much ended the streak they had, and now they only have 2 of their old lineup so its pretty much a new team

they're still good on german standards though, just need that last magic touch to succeed internationally too
Parent
Yeah! In which team you play nowadays? You were destroying everyone when you played for NiP! Didn't know you browse crossfire! You play ET too??? Maybe you should start team in ET with HeatoN and others???
Parent
czm gonna roll, cant wait :]
his time is over :I
Parent
i know, but i still can fanboi :]

he is not that bad actually considering if what hes saying about his preparation is true, it's regretful that he can't put more time in QL, i am sure he would be top3 material
Parent
where the hell are you at man. havent seen u in days !
Parent
He'd be very lucky to get out of his group now though :)
Parent
i find liefje already annoying :D
im glad TLO is casting now instead of RotterdaM, most annoying shoutcaster ever (mabye besides Kelly)
Parent
agreed, and at least kelly is improving x]
Parent
rofl sc2...nerd game
and on the other news, after mvp, nestea and boxer also mkp and fruitdealer are out of the tournament now x]
OMFG

First of all, fuck you for spoiling, secondly WTF
Parent
sorry. edited :/ and yes wtf x]
Parent
So only Jinro and NaDa left from last season's ro8 I guess x)
Parent
and MC!! but i do see a real good chance for or jinros first or mc's second win, and as im a fan of both i dont care :D but i do hope slightly more for jinro that owuld be awesome
Parent
Anything can happen now of course.

Jinro needs to get past HongUn first and he fucking owned in the groupstage. Then it'll probably be MC who's waiting for him in the ro8 and he's obviously a boss. If he gets past that he should take the whole thing, otherwise he'll have to slap himself so hard.

On the other side of the brackets NaDa is probably the best player, but in a tournament where the whole line of favorites got wiped out in the first stage I'm not sure of anything.

I just really felt like typing something. My hands are damn cold and my fingers are finally semi-warm now.
Parent
pretty much agree on everything besides the hongun part :]
Parent
Too bad for you because I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Parent
well u were kinda right about everything, i just dont think hongun is that good :D
Parent
made me cry :(
Parent
Good to see the stream isn't fucking up every half minute.
Thanks Rockskin!
Just FYI on the LoL vs HoN debate, the winning argument is that both games are shit.
Filter it out maybe instead of leaving your worthless and bannable opinion here? Eh?
Parent
stuart my friend

WTF/F?F?F??F?F?F?F?
Parent
czm got rolled by skilled
cypher out :S
damn nice game rapha vs cypher
Sup with SC2 Group A now?
Morrow advancing because of a threeway tie between Tarson, White-Ra and Morrow, but morrow won one map more thus is in the top 3 (he 2-0'd tarson)
Parent
Pretty sure Spart1e is 2nd because he dropped more maps than CooLLer but I might be wrong ;D
Infact you are right :o, but i'm holding on to the IEM official site, mabye it has soemthing to do with the underling result between Spart1e & Cooller (which i dont know purely guessing)

E: the site has been wrong about more thing relating to SC2/QL at the rankings, so might be updated yet
Parent
spartie is first because he beat cooller
Parent
You are always wrong, how do you do that :S
Parent
silence belgian! :D
Parent
FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!
I MISSED THE FCKINBG START AGAINA??DQ?D?Qd

How many times have they displayed the wrong name tags in the introduction now? x)
QL final will be cooller vs rapha
So the only four Korea-based players participating in the tournament managed to take the top four spots. Hmm :*
thats what happens when all you do everyday is play starcraft :D
Parent
moon-glade is australian
Parent
Living in Korea, hence Korea-based.
Parent

COOLLERRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Nice coverage Rockskin, well done mate.
HoN lovers whining about this LoL tournament. And use the WC cup as a example of how big the HoN prizepools can be, however the funny thing is that it's about the only tournament there has been in HoN worth mentioning.
not sure if serious
Parent
Does'nt matter as both games will disappear soon enough.
Parent
Just like ET? :))))
Parent
ET will disappear in about two years.
Parent
omg, this guy have very nice keyboard in his hands :D
