When the mix team of böse quietscheentchen revealed their tag in the recent ET-Cup #15, where they placed second behind a lineup that was powered by some old parodia heroes, our very own Arachon quickly demanded in a journal that the tag stealing had to stop. With legal measures still under discussion, we will see this team on GIGA tonight nevertheless.
As their opponent we have the Italians of n1ce.it who are a very ambitious team and are currently trying to reach first spots in several leagues and cups. Having some national players of Italy in their roster, they are perfectly fit for this match which will show German national players on the böse side.
The maps are known to everyone: sw_goldrush_te as the classic to provide the standard GIGA viewer who is not that much into Enemy Territory with something he knows and as the second battlefield we have sw_fueldump_b3, a modified version of the very first ET map which is said to make Crossfire admins shiver when its name is mentioned.
I have asked a few of the players for their thoughts about the match and for a little insight into what the future holds for their team:
urtier We have found quite a good team to compete with the Italians of n1ce. The first map, sw_goldrush, is well known and we have already played it a few times, so there shouldn't be any problems. On sw_fueldump that's different, I guess none of the teams has really played it so it will be an open fight. There's no way to tell who's going to win that one.
Mamalukes There have been a lot of changes on sw_fueldump, the tank drives faster and the Axis have another spawn point, which is a big plus. Due to the damagefalloff the map has a big minus though. I do not know the lineup of böse but they do have very good players. The odds are in our favour if they do not field the complete Team Germany lineup :-P
We are trying to play every possible cup - one thing I can say is that the ITA.6on6 cup is going to host its 6th edition in a few weeks, I hope it brings some life to the Italian scene.
drago Today the böse quietscheentchen fight against the brave warriors of n1ce.it. Though we are just a mix team, we hope to compensate the lack of teamplay through fire power and to win this match. The map choice really suits is, especially sw_fueldump is a new map with a lot of potential and a high fun factor. Let's have a good game!
