Mapping contest cup and updates

Im going to sort a simple cup testing out the new 5 maps that were released in the mapping contest - the cup will be 6 teams all in one group stage with bo1 then the top two teams go into the final picking one map each from the map list. Each round of the group stage will feature a different new map from said mapping competition.

Details
Date: Sunday 22nd May
Time: 19:00CET
Group stage games: 45mins allowance each (will finish at 22:15 at the latest)
Grand Final: 22:30
Format: 5on5
Final map submission: Friday 20th May, 20:00 BST (to be played in this cup)

There will be no prize for this cup, but realise that one of these maps will be at the eSports Challenge LAN so it is in your interest to test them and get any issues out the way early.

Teams who are attending the eSports Challenge LAN in July will get priority to take part as well in this event. If you are interested please let me know here on crossfire or IRC.

Update: Seanza has agreed to include an additional deadline for mappers as it has become apparent that a lot of them have made significent updates to their map. The new 2nd deadline will be 20:00 (BST) Friday 20th May, this means that the final deadline will be 20:00 (BST) Tuesday 7th June. Mappers get ready!

some oldschool ETTV action will be given by Belgium Anaconda.

Have fun at jungle :D All maps aren't really playable for competition. Pirates need to have some adjustments and maybe only that map will be playable for competition :/
A 2nd way to get to the flag, should be included within an update

tounine is just awesome for 3on3

and pirates' spawntime are just fucked up ( axis can rush everytime :P )

pirates and tounine seem the only ones playable and they still need a few tweaks.
Why not allow updated/fixed versions of maps? Most maps there didn't seem finished, and players would only benefit from playing newer versions.
I agree - but its against the rules from Seanza in the mapping competition. shame really - as it would allow this period to have lots of fixes and updates etc. (generally small things, not big anyway).

Agree, I already have an updated version of castle, I've had all the feedback I'm going to get for the previous version and need real feedback that this cup would provide for my latest revision.

thinking of:
- reworking last axis spawn (extra exit, more corridorspace)
(- adding 2nd back-spawn in a small complex behind the obj-bunker, but not if I do the first point)
- might move CP a little bit back, havent decided about that yet. If I do I could change the movepath of the tank a little bit and also shift the transmitter a bit. Think this is a good idea but didnt make up my mind yet
