While the ESL is running the ESL Championship qualifier and many public whores expecting to see a global ranking site released it is time to sum up the international BRINK scene with some important community projects worth to give them a try.
The Splash Damage Forums are base and starting point for most of the players while the ESL forums are used for competitive talks. As both are somehow not the best base for the competitive and public scene it might be a good heads up on what BRINK offers the bandwidth of gamers, may it be beginner or pro.
BRINK TV - Live stream
The northern American project started to become big once they attended Quakecon as coverage partner with an huge amount of success known as QuakeLive TV.
The founders mattc0m and GreasedScotsman have been around for a while and most likely know what they do. With the first tournament to introduce the game BRINK TV also set the roots for competitive gaming and it's rules. While broadcasts are rather rare lately and spectator view definitely needs some improvement both owners of the project are highly active in the SplashDamage forum to figure out stuff about game configs and participate in discussions.
By the way, their name is confusing as the domain they use is thebrink.tv - Don't rage if you failed to type it more than once already.
BRINKish.eu - Competitive news
dohfos started this project at the moment he heard about BRINK. With the posts released on Crossfire in it's early base BRINKish became the major resource for updates on the development progress, pre-release statements and so on.
BRINKish also introduced major IRC channels such as #brink.pickups and #brink.wars. Also #brinkish is worth a join if you have space left. The page itself delivers short and compact news on recent updates and wants to be europeans major competitive news page. Also, their website is currently in development. A full featured release is expected during fall this year.
Brink Wiki - Basic and advanced knowledge on BRINK
If you want to learn about the maps and their objectives, weapons and their power, body types and their abilities this page gives you a perferct and detailed overview on everything. While Den Kirson's details on BRINK weapons is a nice addition to this the Wiki gives a pretty deep heads up on what to do.
/r/brink - The reddit community
With the release of BRINKKIT the community already delivered a nice tool to improve your FPS and settings. Besides that they consider creating maps even though a SDK is not released yet and did put alot of faith in the game's release. Just to not let it go down, of course we would appreciate any up vote of this news post on their website.

Sometimes I believe the number of gamers in generel is shrinking.
