TWL Re-Opens ET Ladder

Kn1ghT, over at United States of America

TeamWarfare League, today announced that they will be re-opening their Enemy Territory Stopwatch ladder. The ladder will serve as, hopefully, a precursor in generating enough interested teams to once again run a full-on Enemy Territory league at TWL. The first day following the announcement has seen eleven teams sign up, and it is hoped this growth will sustain itself into enough teams for a standard league set up.

The ladder will go live when signups hit the twenty-team marker.

The Ruleset

Please note that this a league intended for North and South Americans. Europeans are more than welcome to play, either on their own teams or mixed in with North and South American players — however, matches will be played at standard American times. If you can play the times (nolifer!) we would love to have you in the ladder.

An exact ruleset has not yet been nailed down, but expect something very similar to what ClanBase and ESL use, although little things like prone-delay may be tweaked.

well times 8:30 - 10:30 EST is typical, it's a ladder keep in mind so even though fri/sat may be challenge days most don't play on those days (when you challenge you have a few days to pick from)

gl with this, but u could keep times whole day, as some ppl still prefer to play early than at evening.

The goal is to shift this into a league however, which would play at night. So allowing play times during the day might get European teams into the ladder, but there wouldn't be any way to get those teams to play in the league (probably at 9:30 PM EST or around there on a weekday).

That, and there are plenty of EU ladders already. ;)

well partially because it's an american site so twl have it set up for americans, however this is one of the few games that actually has a decent anti-lag system - you could always challenge for a time lets say 10 PM EST then in match comments just say you want to play in the afternoon for example
