As you'll have seen in the below newspost by walle, this year's Electronic Sports World Cup is being held in Paris, France and is currently into the second day of play. As the Counter-Strike has already been documented, below is the information surrounding the other major competitions:
Starcraft II:
The competition begun with a group format with 8 groups and the top 2 players advancing from each group. The group stages are now over and the single-elimination knock-out has begun. The qualifiers from each group were as follows:

Following on from the International Series a few months ago in which Na'vi stormed to victory, we will again see Dota 2 in competitive format despite the game being some way off public release. The game is currently in the development phase with new content being added every week, so the version of the game that you will see this weekend will be far advanced from the one showcased earlier in the year. The group-stages have yet to get underway, and they are as follows:
