PDT2 - Teams & Groups

Signups for second edition of Polish Draft Tournament are closed and we are moving to the next step. Tonight at 21:30 CEST team captains will choose players for their teams in draft process. They will be able to select gamers from 65 people who signed up for this tournament.

Also I decided to reduce a bit the number of teams, so there will be 6 teams participating in this cup. Besides voiler,
I needed five more people that would be suitable for a job of team leader. Though I couldn't find proper candidates so I put myself as a captain as well.

Draft will take place on tournament irc channel - #polish.cup - tonight at 21:30 CEST. Each captain will select 5 out of 64 players to form a roster with (choosing players one at a time in turns until teams are finished).

Only half of those players will be chosen to play in the main lineup in one of the teams. That big amount of gamers gives each captain a very big choice over players, I'm quite sure nobody will be unhappy with their team and nobody will be 'forced' to play with anyone they don't want to.

Also, instead of each team having a backup, there will be a backup poule of players who volunteered as a backup. No one picked you? You can still play in this cup as a backup player. You can pm me that you'd like to join the backup poule to be a backup on the day of the tournament - 5th April. Do not signup if you won't be here! You're expected to be online on Thursday 5th April if you are chosen by a captain to replace someone in their lineup. You need to idle cup IRC channel - #polish.cup with a recognisable nickname in order to be contacted.

This is ONE DAY CUP which will be held on Thursday 5th of April - 18:00 CEST.

Cup Schedule:

• 1st Round 18:00 - 19:00 - A1 vs A2 & B1 vs B2
  
• 2nd Round 19:00 - 20:00 - A1 vs A3 & B1 vs B3
  
• 3rd Round 20:00 - 21:00 - A2 vs A3 & B2 vs B3
  After group stage teams A3 vs B3 play a game for 5th/6th place
  
• Semi-Finals 21:00 - 22:00 - 1st in A vs 2nd in B & 1st in B vs 2nd in A
  
• Bronze Final 22:00 - 23:00 - Losers of Semifinals
  
• Grand Final 22:00 - 23:00
