BFB 2 Frags of the Week

We need your help!



As a tournament, we are trying to surpass expectations in achieving the most competitive tournament which produces content unlike any others seen before. You have seen previous newsposts introducing the team behind the games working hard to officiate and keeping you up to date and intrigued with content, now we have a new addition/idea which we would like to provide.

We have seen how successful frag of the week clips can be, judging by the quality and admiration of the recent CGo Aus.ET Draft Cup | Clips of the Week # 1. Frags of the week have been implemented in numerous games and tournaments in other scenes, so why not introduce and nail it for BFB 2?

Crossfire has managed to secure the services of the ever talented Portugalag0n who has kindly agreed to produce Frags of the Week for BFB 2. However, for this to be as successful as we intend, we need YOUR help in highlighting the frags which are worthy of being shown in this piece of art.

We have set up a forum at http://www.crossfire.nu/?x=forum&mode=item&id=44502 and we appreciate any input you may have

Stay tuned and intrigued to what will surely be some high quality material and stunning frags in the upcoming weeks.

sounds nice if you keep doing it, if i remember there was already a similar idea that failed after 2/3 weeks.

the reason why it failed and might fail again is because for some reason in ET there seems to be a need for high quality editing in a highlight reel. All that's needed IMO is a high quality config and then just show the frags. No need for cams and all this crap in a "frag of the week" sort of thing.

So true, To much edit in a frag of the week and you wont be able to see the frags. Better with high quality and music.

ye but without cam or a little of editing, "fotw" will be annoying imo

even if i can enjoy demos+mp3

ag0n never made a proper movie, always amazing tesclips and nothing more, he always have excuses why he didnt made anything (hdd crashes etc )
but hes nice wise guy with great knowledge and I wish him gl.

It is because he has high standards.. unlike some other movie makers that constantly produce demo+mp3, pointless cams, lazily high bitrate and never improve by taking note of constructive community feedback.
