ClanBase Enemy Territory EuroCup XXV and 6on6 OpenCup Spring 2012

Groups Announcement

EuroCup XXV

The group stage will be composed of 4 teams per group, with 4 groups in total, for 16 participating teams combined.

The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the playoffs which will be played using the double elimination format. The playoff tree will be announced shortly after the group stage is over.

Once again I invite all team captains to join #EuroCup.priv IRC channel. There is a password on this channel so PM one of the admins to get a password.

The groups have been officially published and consist of five divisions with 16 teams in 4 groups in the Premier to Third division and 20 teams in 4 groups in the remaining divisions. This gives us 88 participants in this OpenCup.

The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the playoffs which will be played using the double elimination format in Premier League and the single elimination format for the remaining divisions. The playoff tree will be announced shortly after the group stage is over.

21.05.2012 - 27.05.2012 : Fifth Matchweek (OpenCup 2+ Leauges only)

Be sure to challenge your opponents as soon as possible; not doing so will lead to forced matches.

Roster:

During each matchweek two different maps will be played:

First matchweek: sw_goldrush_te/bremen_b3
Second matchweek: radar/missile_b3
Third matchweek: supply/adlernest
Fourth Matchweek: sw_goldrush_te/karsiah_te2 (OpenCup 2+ Leagues only)
Fifth Matchweek: supply/frostbite (OpenCup 2+ Leagues only)

Goldorak decided to reduce amount of teams in premier (in 2nd as well) from 20 to 16. So he had to move 4 teams from 1st -> 2nd. Unfortunately for you, your team was in that 4 teams :{

why do people think we care about playing EC? we're playing for fun, and i'd rather play OC prem and have a chance of winning than losing every game in EC. We are better than 6/7 of those teams playing EC, its just funny to see certain people's ego's grow cos they got into lowest EC ever :P OC prem will be fun =)

Why not scedule some matches between premier and second league teams to decide who s playing premier and 2nd league
