Anexis Win AEM Seeding Tournament

Anexis eSports have won the AEM Seeding Tournament after coming through the Upper Bracket and beating Finlantic6 in the Grand Final. The groups will be announced for next weekends ET Masters LAN hosted by Adroits in the next few days. There will also be a preview article published, so stay tuned for more on this.

The seeding cup hasn't really gone as expected with most of the top teams using a lot of mercs and WinFakt getting knocked out early after forfeit loss and losing against CUBE. All this resulted in for example Lost Soldiers getting pretty far and PDEG getting into top3, but you can't by no means underestimate PDEG as they did a really good job against Anexis in their previous game and weren't far from winning. With WinFakt out of the picture I can't say that we could be satisfied with anything but top2 finish. We are also highly motivated to win this game as we want to get the chance to beat Anexis in the final, even though this game most likely has no effect on the seedings. Like I said, PDEG isn't going to be an easy opponent, and it should be an interesting game as we haven't played against them in an official yet.

At the start when I saw the brackets I saw we got seeded as 4th. This was of course our goal to hold. Now we are already in the top 3 and this motivated us even more for the lan. But to be honest we got of course a bit lucky with the Winfakt case. Hopefully we will end at the lan like we end in this tournament. To come in the top4 is the duty for us. To come into the top3 a big goal!
