Upcoming #et.tourney top-matches

The week has just started with a big 6v6 one day cup final between Queens and Almighty and just 24 hours later we do see another big battle between four more or less equally skilled teams. I am talking about the current #et.tourney games with Europe BDSM fighting against Europe bSTURZ for the last spot in the upper bracket final in division 1 and the clash between the CGS lan performers Europe Devastation and the all-Finish side of Finland Keskus Rikos Poliisi. On paper and according to the GamesTV.org odds there are two clear winners but I am sure no one of those four teams will be satisfied with a runner-up spot and thus try to push to their limit.

The 1st division game is a make-or-break match and I am curious if the experienced BDSM mix can overcome the newer generation of jesse, bytheway or VERUNA. The mapchoice might be the crux of the matter and with SupplyDepot as first map I can`t see the likes of FLoPJEHZ, twidi or xPERiA losing but who knows, maybe the up and coming boys will proof me wrong.

The other big blast is the fight of Devastation against krp and although the European side of deV had a good lan performance in Poland and hopefully improved their whole gameplay by getting better known to each other I and a lot of others put their money on the Finish shoulders of ensam, Vanhaomena and Sample and again just time will tell whether I`ll become rich or die tryin' !

And to round this newspost off I gathered some player opinions:
QuoteKRP seems stronger on the paper since they've got in the lineup some of ET.Finland finest players. Although they shouldn't underestimate deVbrostation because they have been playing together for a long time and have been doing quite well. Also they've just come back from polish lan and I guess they are still a bit drunk after vodka.pl so it might be a tough one for them. I expect it will be a good & close game, and despite the fact that my heart belongs for deV, the score will be 4:2 for KRP.

bSTURZ vs BDSM
Team BDSM have got some big names in the roster but I guess they are offi only team. And since they are just a mix of players and bSTURZ have been pracing something lately, they may have some troubles to beat their opponent clearly with 4:0. If fuchs, specula and others will have a good day, they might win a map but I don't think they are strong enough to win the entire match. 4:2 for the guys of BDSM - Poland fanatic

QuoteBDSM have too much individual talent and experience for bSTURZ. Seeing as they already met in the winnerbrackets where BDSM won 4-0. This should be nothing less than a walkover for BDSM.
4-0 for Twidi & co.

The other game has more potential, deV has some nice upcoming players in Tomoyo and Kirej, while Domi adds some much needed experience. But I'm afraid that the individual skill of these 3 players won't be enough to challenge the likes of ensam, sample & kapaa. 4-0 for KRP - Serbia Lazio

QuoteBDSM vs bSTURZ:
bSTURZ has a few guys i dont know that well. Pyruvat &bytheway?? The other 4 are all good players, but when they are facing the meanmachine xPERIA, they will not stand a chance. flop and the rest of the lads are great players too, so it will be an easy 4:0 win for BDSM.

Dev vs KRP: Domi does probably still have a huge hangover after the meating with polish police. Even if tomoyo can be a beast, i dont think dev can be even near making the KRP lads nervouse.
As long as KRP take this serious, and stay of the vodka untill after the match, it will be 0:4 in this match. - Norway Snuble

QuoteBDSM vs bSTURZ : I'm expecting to win 4-0 but since we (BDSM) are never certain on our lineup and who's drunk and who's cracked out of his mind, it can go either way, really.

deV vs krp: I'm not sure on how serious krp takes these games, and considering they drink loads of bears and fuck women while playing dev might take one map. 4-0 / 4-2 for KRP. - Netherlands xPERiA

QuoteBDSM looks like a usual summer mix filled with some quite good players, bSTURZ look like they're playing around with their lineup this summer too so it's quite hard to predict the outcome, considering bSTURZ are probably much more active individually and as a team than BDSM. I'd go for 4-0 to BDSM still considering the quality of some of the players. I don't know how good Weslann is or if he can compete at this level so if I would be spectating this match, I'd probably follow him.
I think this roster for Devastation works quite well, they proved themselves to be quite strong in the CGS Seeding tournament and the LAN itself pulling down some good teams, though KRP generally seem to destroy teams like these in matches and if this lineup stays this way, I'll have my GTV money on KRP! player to watch: Vanhaomena, or Woozie for his performance I noticed during the CGS seeding and LAN tournament! - United Kingdom Artstar

QuoteBDSM vs. bSTURZ : BDSM are the obvious favourites for this game, however bSTURZ have been playing together for a while now and seem to be practicing regularly. They've also pulled out some unconventional things like playing battery in the CB SummerCup, perhaps they'll be able to surprise BDSM as well. I'm still gonna go with a 4-0 for BDSM but hope`bSTURZ can give them a good game.

devastation vs. KRP: Having no less than four EC winners in their team KRP have to be the favourites for this game. Devastation have just returned from LAN and have been playing together for quite some time now but I don't see them beating KRP with these players in the lineup. 4-0 KRP. - Netherlands saKen

They've also pulled out some unconventional things like playing battery in the CB SummerCup,

then i missunderstood this, but for me sound it like "bsturz took the map battery to win atleast 1 map because no one has tax on it" :D

just tell me if i am wrong

un·con·ven·tion·al (nkn-vnsh-nl)
adj.
Not adhering to convention; out of the ordinary.

It just means that you've been practicing and played some maps that people don't generally play all that often, which is a good thing that could help you get the win.
