Well in my oppinion he needs to inform everyone quite earlier, im quite sure if you know what the exactly prizepool is , you wont come ! That was clever :D Im only a bit dissapointed the 2nd and 3rd place will be around 200-400 euros means 50 euro per player and that is not normally, i can remember back when tossi made lans and stuff in 2008/09 8k or 10k with the sponsors and the main focus was on ET.

He is doing prolly a really good job i wasnt on the last 2 lans, but i visit the other 6 before and it was allways great, for me the money is not important but for other teams i guess its hard now to hold the motivation up.
I mean its also a bit unfair 12 teams payed more then 3000 euros, we rent the lan center for the quakelive bobs?
I can understand it when it goes like this , 12 teams -> 3000 euros , 2000 prizepool , 1000 for the center + maybe then when he get 5000 from steelseries which he anounce big some days ago also +1000 for ET.
(And not spend everything for QL) The game is maybe fun but im not interested to see there some names in QL the ET players are there and payed the most entree and not the QL players simple.

And the think is he promise 2000 euros for ET and if we take out these 4 teams from 16 -> 12
then we got still 1600, dunno what the organizers doing there.

Im also sure if everyone knows 5 month ago that the prizepool will be 1020 , then noone are going to signup.

This same thing happened on the last LAN. Prizepool was supposed to be min. 3000€ with 16 teams and min. 1500€ with 10 teams, which was the minimium amount of teams required for the event to go ahead. In the end we had 13 teams and there was no information available on the updated prize pool before the event. Based on the given numbers (the only information the teams had) atleast I was expecting the prize pool to be around 2000€, because it would've been min. 1500€ already with 10 teams. Then finally at the LAN while event was already going on we heard that the final prize pool was going to be 1500€ (900€-450€-150€).

No normal organisation would probably even think about organizing one, especially when just looking at the previous one and this one.

Taken that fact still does not make it special that adroit still does organize it though.

yes, even when it's not wzzrd fault, they were always happy to have et lans at their place and did good offers to drink and eat.
