With the first tournament details announced it is time to give you an inside view of the 8 invited teams for the upcoming Crossfire ET-Cup and today we will start with some basic information about erAse, Team Decerto, a.ToOn and Unbreakable-Gaming.
Before publishing the brackets and maps for the highly decorated Crossfire ET-Cup we will give you a short preview - so keep on reading and enjoy your Easter Sunday!
erAse and their "new" lineup are one of the underdogs for the golden trophy but the core had some great moments last CB EuroCup and according to their news post they are aiming for an equal or better performance this year. The main lineup with esSe, dTEC7, Nips, toNI and Element has been playing more or less 3 years together and with vANQ joining their ranks the team might be stronger than ever, but they really have to perform at their peak and beyond that to have a say in this tournament. Player to watch: toNI for some nice rifle kills!
Next comes Team Decerto. Once again it was saKen who took the reins and revived the Decerto lineup for the upcoming spring season. The team is made of some LAN contenders, 3v3 Nations Cup winners and current Nations Cup players and with an impressive number of achievements one can see those guys are not just playing for fun - they are hungry for more! But if I have to find a weak point in that team I would most likely go for cupra, although he is playing for Team NL at the moment, he is the one with the least experience on high level. By saying that I am definitely sure he will proof me wrong and out damage all the other gamers. Player to watch: SQuid for great aiming or saKen for some game changing moments.
a.ToOn was one of the first teams I sent an invitation. Not just because of their lineup but also because of their consistency and ability to shine in difficult situations. By going through their lineup we do see some great individuals as well as some brilliant gamers with a hell of a in-game knowledge and even if none of them have won a big tournament they are all playing on a high level and who knows maybe 2013 will become an a.ToOn year! Player to watch: Bl4d3 as he is not just known for superb aim but also for his good nose!
Although the Crossfire ET-Cup has not started the team playing under the Unbreakable-Gaming wings has already won an award. They are the the biggest underdogs for the tournament but can it could be a good experience for the team going forward as they prepare for the season. They do have experienced players in form of the recurrent sebi or the Finnish long time player Metsuri not to forget mama who became star over night by showing balls of steal on a Crossfire offline event - I still hear some users calling him the new Arnold Schwarzenegger...but they miss that little extra which is needed to rise to the Champions League. Player to watch: Testi because he is on fire. Nearly every late night 3v3 is played with Testi in one of the team roster. Thus his aim and game-play should be on top!
In the next overview we will be finding out more about sick6, Queens, tMoe and Turbot!
