NC: Germany vs Estonia LB Round 4!

With only 7 teams left, the 16th edition of Clanbase ET NationsCup is entering to its most exciting stage!


Two days ago we were able to watch two electrifying games that ended up with deciders! We started with a very tough battle in a Loser Brackets between Finland and Estonia (GamesTV: LINK) where took it after Supply which was a decider map and therefore are knocked out of the tournament. Some minutes later another big show started, Upper Bracket Round 3 game between Poland and Germany (GamesTV: LINK). After the first map where looked way stronger, it didn't seem like was about to win that match. However, Poles have managed to pull out some great performance and win the entire game with 4-2.

It was all covered by voice and DtS, who has been doing a really great job lately. Well done! Also, as they announced while the last Crossfire ET-Cup, they are going to cast some more of NationsCup games! Stay tuned!

Unfortunately the second semi-final of the Upper Bracket didn't take place and Team United Kingdom advanced to the UB Final with a forfeit win, whereas The Netherlands are going to fight in a Loser Bracket now (against either Sweden or Czech Republic - LINK).

Let's come back to the main topic now, tomorrow at 22:00 CEST we are going to have another great game in this year's NationsCup. Germany and Estonia will be fighting for everything because the loser of this game will have to say goodbye!
Team Estonia's been having a very hard times in this NationsCup. They didn't manage to win their group and therefore they had to face few very decent nations already. It all started with a close game against France followed by defeat against Poland and another win against France, this time in a Loser Bracket but both times they needed a decider to beat An7ho's team, plus the most recent game against Finland which was also very close and interesting one. As you can see it wasn't an easy games for Estonians and now they need to mobilize themselves to maximum again and face another big nation - Germany.
Team Germany has just landed in a Loser Bracket. After taking the first spot in their group with losing just 1 map, they had to face Slovenia and Finland in their two first Upper Bracket games. Both of them went fairly easy for Germans and they both ended with 4:0 scores for them. Then the first obstacle appeared and they weren't strong enough to beat Poland which brought them to this situation.

I think it will be an interesting game with these 2 teams. Germany improved a lot last days and Estonia is still in road for the final. It will be a close game. My prediction is 4 - 2 for Germany.

Both teams have very strong lineups, but I think Germany is to win this one 4:2. Those guys know each other good and have all they need to win this, no weak spot so to say. On the other side, Estonia is not capable of teamplay Germany should have - and that will be what will make Germany win.

Both teams have had similar match results in the Playoffs so far, but Germany has managed to win just a few more maps than Estonia has. GER won 4-0 vs FIN, while EST only won with 4-2, and GER lost to POL with a score of 2-4, while EST lost 0-4. However, the Estonians are a bit more active and could very likely put up a good enough fight to win the game. I predict a score of 4-2 for EE.

I believe it could be a fairly close match, on one hand you have the Germans that have been playing together for years, Kevji having done a very impressive job picking up the rifle spot, blade known for his aim and stownage+krest to finish off the lineup, all players of very noteable skill and experience, where as Estonia features the likes of Night and freeze, subbi which has been regarded as a very talented aimer and Sinnu, I suppose. Though I'll have to give this one to the Germans in a clear 4-0 victory. Eestis aren't bad individually, by no means, but various players are known to do certain things excessively, Sinnu with his constant need of trying to hit trickshot rifles, yench with the sneaking, etc. Just to name a few. However, if Night does somehow manage to get it under control I could see them taking a map, but definitely not more.

The past few months Estonia have amazed us with very good results. Not to mention defeating Finland. However, Germany succeeded in defeating Finland also. So this is going to be either way a very close game. But I'm going to have to call it a 4-2 victory to Estonia.

Both Germany and Estonia got knocked out into the LB by Poland in close games and I'm expecting that we'll see another really exciting game between these two teams. I can't really tell which team is the favourite on this one, could really go either way. I'll be cheering for EE tho (sorry KRESTi) so I'm gonna go with a EE 4 - 2 DE prediction.

As we can see almost everyone is predicting a close game with a 4:2 scores for either Estonia or Germany.
