Battle For Berlin proudly presents the first round of tournament matches!
The first two days will encompass the first 16 matches, deciding who continues on in the Winners Bracket and who drops to the Losers Bracket and one step closer to elimination. Both days will be on the same map, Ice.
At this time we have designated servers so we can easily route all Radio-iTG shoutcasters, BFBRadio, and WolfTV crew to a server aswell as have an admin and team presence in a timely fashion. This will continue unless something arises where we can't provide a playing space; but that shouldn't be a problem.
Alot of players have been asking about Euro servers, and we are definately understanding your dilema. Don't fret tho, as we are looking into buying two London based servers. Hopefully, Look to see two Euro servers ready to be used by November 1st.
November 1st, a Wednesday, is the first day of matches. November 3rd, Friday, is the second. Each team will not play each day, so you should average to about 2-3 games per week at most. A perminate scheduele as for weekly games will look as follows:
Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Friday = Game Days
Thursday - Saturday - Sunday = Off Days
And now for what you've been waiting for! The matches are as follows:
Day 1: Wednesday, November 1st - Ice[/u]
Critical Impluse vs. emc
Animate Gaming #1 vs. HighBot
Nameless vs. Xeimos
n1ce.it vs. Knö i Hörn
Reflexive Gaming vs. Team Rage
evil vs. Indifference
Dark vs. imbécilS
Blur vs. WANsanity
Day 2: Friday, November 3rd - Ice[/u]
3 Stooges vs. AOL Disk
Team Trinity vs. Fear Us
Point.Blank vs. Order Thru Chaos
ShadowFighters vs. Fallanx
Yokohama Fragers vs. TOEZ
H4X sQuaD vs. Total Havoc
svpermen vs. Shrub Kings
Armed Aggression vs. Hostile^Inc
For all Team Leaders and team players, etc. please check out the matches page for exact info on times, server IP's, and server passwords. Each server should have an admin, or a shoutcaster with ref, etc. so there should be no problem as far as people interrupting matches.
PLEASE READ: If your team has yet to confirm your attendance via email or mIRC pm, you need to do so asap as your spot in the tournament could be in jeapordy. Most of the EU teams have done so, but if you have yet to say "Yes, we will be attending" or something of that degree to me via email or mIRC pm, please do so by the 28th or your spot will be given to one of the 4 backup teams.
Enjoy the tournament, and I hope everything works out. I'll keep you all informed on the London server status, aswell as other things. If any of you have a server you are willing to lend for this two week tournament, we would love to talk to you. Please email me if you have any proposals.
And on a final note, we are in the final stages of a last minute sponsorship that will add some more volume to our prize list. Soon to come!
Thanks!
