After yesterday's exciting game of Cave vs KiH we can finally leave the group stage behind and move on to the playoffs and the consolation bracket.
Please go to our website www.rtcwcup.com and navigate to the playoff and consolation bracket sections to view the new brackets.
The way we determined the brackets for the playoffs is by placing a first placed team of a group versus a second placed team of a different group in no particular order. We've used the same system for the consolation bracket, only this time with the third and fourth place.
A few changes to the time schedule:
Due to a few delays during the group stage we came to the conclusion that the original deadline(2 February) for the final to take place is unlikely to be reached. Thus it's been decided to push back the deadline for the final to 16 February. Also the first match week will start on 12 January instead of the first week of January.
Furthermore I'd like to announce that by the end of the cup we will look back at some crucial/cool/funny moments or any action worth showing that has taken place during the cup. You as a viewer have a chance to vote for your favorite. Those that get most votes will receive a prize.
Also during one of the following match weeks we'll have a special trivia question for the viewers giving you the chance to win a prize. When this will take place will be announced in a future news post.
I hope you've all had a good time so far and I wish you all the best of luck in the playoffs and the consolation bracket!

Seedings could have been done a lot better. Would have probably switched phase for BD; seems to make for a lot more interesting and evenly matched games, where as right now KiH is getting a free path to 3rd and raw will be dominating LB very early on. While there could be a lot more interesting match ups to be had.
Thought this counts for the first playoff match :P But still, looking at the lineups I think phase might have a slight better chance than raw
