Quakecon returns for 2014 with its 19th edition! The event is brought to us by id software who have decided to bring the event forward a few weeks compared to previous years.

I think last two years or atleast the last edition had minecraft PvP... The name QuakeCon was already breaking down but when I read that I felt it had really lost its touch...

every big byoc event has random competitions. Dreamhack and iSeries will have stupid small tournaments for the BYOC attendees - If however minecraft PvP was a main event then yea, kinda sad :P

let's face it, quakecon has lost its novelty a long time ago, the main attraction last year was a bunch of random nerds proposing to one and another on stage, during those minigames. God that were the most awful 4 hours of stream I've ever watched.

IF they picked ET, I bet it would have shitloads of hype but eventually there would be only a few teams to actually ready to go to the US.
