News
I'm happy to announce CyberGamer EU Enemy Territory Season 2! Signups are now open and will remain open until Sunday the 14th of September.
Season 2 will again run in two stages, starting with a league and followed by tournaments.
Stage 1: League
The first stage will be a league, otherwise known as a groupstage. We will run two leagues - one for each format. Teams will be split up into divisions with two groups per division. The number of divisions and number of teams per group will depend on how many signups we get.
After all league matches have been played, the top x teams from each group in each division will advance to the next stage of the cup season.
Stage 2: Tournament
The second stage will consist of playoffs-style tournaments. There will be one tournament for each division in each league. The top x teams from each group in each division will compete in their division's tournament.
Tournament brackets will be double elimination as usual. Our goal is to finish by Christmas!
Once you have successfully done so, your team will automatically be added to the waiting pool. If this does not happen for some reason or if you'd like to sign up with an existing team, please send a PM to szczurek or myself with a link to your team so that we can manually add it.
Note: The system will only allow you to be in two teams at a time, and you won't be able to create a new team via the league page if you're already a member of a team in the waiting pool.
Please read the rules carefully before signing up!

I'll delete the team I just made now, or otherwise you can remove it from the sign-ups. ( http://eu.cybergamer.com/team/195350/Serious-Incident-Called-Karma/ )

Because the only alternative is running cups with no anticheat or player identification system at all? :P
With so few signups this season, we can't really afford to have too many dropouts in order for the cup system to work.
hey hey hey sergeant nipplefinger, slow down a little bit. are you still upset that i told you one day after the first match week started that we had to drop out of the cup in season 1? your choice of words suggests that we dropped out of every cup we participated in...
i understand your concern about that but i am pretty sure that even without having checked the signups there are teams to which this applies more than kitt's and symbol's team and you know that as well...
Really? I'm the one who's upset here?
Last season, both your 3on3 team and symbol's 6on6 team dropped out. Surely it's not that difficult to understand my being a little extra cautious this time around?
And they will obviously be dealt with. Maybe you should tell your friend to stop trying to be the ET police and worry about himself instead. This is why I avoid having conversations with you guys, because the second I say or do something that is even remotely unfavorable everyone freaks out. Literally all I said in my reply to Kitt's PM was "how do I know you won't drop out again?"
yes. in fact you seem to be furious.
we dropped out of the 3on3 competition because kitt had his menstruation few days before the cup started and i asked you friendly if you could remove us from the cup while you gave me an brusque answer without even knowing why we dropped out (it is not like we didn't want to play); so symbol and i were in need of a new 3rd but we couldn't be bothered and focused on 6on6.
were your really surprised by the fact that symbol's team fell apart? to be honest i wasn't. furthermore it is more likely that a 6on6 team will fall apart than a 3on3 team and symbol played 6on6 eventually (and some of his former team members as well), didn't he?
as i mentioned above this suggests that we dropped out everytime while it happened only ONCE - we have been participating in the cups since spring 2013 and never dropped out except for the last season.. and even there we played either 3on3 (kitt) or 6on6 (symbol and i). so shouldn't this be "trust" enough that we/they won't drop out again?
it is the way how you ask kitt. you should have given him further information like you did above:
"With so few signups this season, we can't really afford to have too many dropouts in order for the cup system to work."
something like this: "you have to be 99% sure that you will participate in this cup since we have a small amount of signups this season and otherwise the cup system won't work"
maybe i am interpreting too much into your utterances but this is the way i grasp them
I never suggested that you constantly drop out of cups. You're reading words that aren't there. No matter the reason, two teams were removed last season because of you guys, so I'm simply doing my best to avoid a repeat. It is less of a matter of distrust and more of me just looking out in advance for the quality of our cups.
Please don't lecture me on how I spoke in PM to a guy who flames me and other admins in public on a regular basis. That is ridiculous.
It sure does seem that way. What a silly thing to argue about when you don't even appear to be participating this season.
and i played all my matches with One Way and Ava isn't even in that CG League Team and i never told ya a LU.
so yea ypu talk alot of bs and not even the truth...
and like i already mention above did you wrote that to other people aswell? better lets wait 1 year for finals with highskillers who signup on every Tournament.
