Crossfire ET Tournament Season 1

After four weeks the Crossfire ET Season 1 Group stage has come to an end. A list of all the matches that have been played in the group stage can be found here: CF ET: Groupstage. It's now time to get ready for the playoffs. Each format will have a consolation and champions brackets that both feature a double elimination system.

The six different playoffs with their matches and dates can be found in nice overview: CF ET: Playoffs.
A must see for all the teams!

General information

  • Upper bracket matches that aren't played within two weeks will result in a forfeit loss by the team who didn't show.
  • Lower bracket matches that aren't played within one week will result in a forfeit loss by the team who didn't show.
  • On the Thursday or Friday of each matchweek, unscheduled matches will be forced to the end of the matchweek (Sunday or Monday).
  • Teams are free to play their games at an earlier or later date if both teams agree, but all matches must be played by match date - no exceptions! No wildcards allowed.
  • The maps in the playoff stage are not forced. Each team picks a map from the map pool. The decider will be chosen by cointoss elimination. The winner of the cointoss may decide which team starts the elimination.
  • One Merc per team is allowed, as long as the opponent agrees. Only players who are not a member in an active cup team are allowed to merc. In any other situation, permission from admins is needed.
  • CGAC is mandatory in all matches.

I would like to welcome Finland Sherclock to the admin team. Due to some personal issues Belgium ChilAx was unfortunately forced to quit his job as admin in the ET scene. Nevertheless, I would like to thank him for all the great work he has done for the ET community over the last year. Sherclock will replace ChilAx and help us with bringing this tournament to a successful end.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions about the cup!
You can find us on #crossfire.

Penix is the best chief of security services, he's the only one who was able to provide computer servers that can handle our skills. Legend says he had to rent an entire basement to host #follow.et servers because the amount of lowbobs getting ownd on those servers was too damn high causing computers to crash if not kept under -133,7°C
