ET Reborn LAN - Seeding Tournament

ET Reborn LAN - Seeding Tournament

image: logo450pxnobg

The signup period is now over and it’s time to start the seedings. We will be taking the base seedings from recent results of the teams. Teams will be seeded into a Double Elimination bracket which will then be played out over the course of a week. We will then use the final standings of that bracket to determine the final seeds for LAN.

Teams must be using their anticipated LAN lineup for the event. If this is going to be an issue, then get in touch with one of the seeding tournament admins way in advance.

"- 6on6 seeding tournament: 2 & 5 April
- 3on3 seeding tournament: 9 & 12 April"

Why the change all of a sudden?
No dates have been set yet.

u want to have all teams play with LAN lineup, but why do u force date and time then? We still have more then 3 weeks till lan, so let the team make their dates themself, or at least make day1 in week1 and day2 in week2
We are not forcing teams to play with LAN lineup. Read the text.

Also, from my experience, when you let teams decide when they play their match, they end up not playing at all. That is why all the dates have been forced and will remain forced.

?!?
if teams can't find a day it will be forced to sunday 21cet, u never played clanbase?!?
Parent
You ever hosted an ET cup?
Parent
oh u one of the fags answering a question with a question nice. there is no more to say.
Parent
Because this is a relevant question. Look what Sebhes replied to you. Allowing teams to schedule their match is a no-go. There's less than a month left till the LAN. Forcing the dates works fine.
Parent
ok. then thanks for putting so much time in organizing this, will see u on the game days then :)
Parent
We're honestly doing the best we can to make this work for everybody. But we also need to keep an eye on what's realistic and what's not.
Parent
wow you seem quite lunatic right there
Parent
Teams do not put any effort in scheduling any of their matches no matter how much time you give them. The current crossfire cup is no difference and I'm sure other admins will agree on this fact.

Spot on young padawan :D
Parent
Yes, you could imagine grown up people could arrange games on their own, but it's not going to happen because people don't care about ET nowadays. If ET had more competition and money involved, god people wouldn't whine about exams / shifts, they would make an effort for being avi on the date which is set, or at least one reschedule would be enough!
