#ET-Cup - Summary!

The ET-Cup for all ET Reborn Lan teams kicked off right at 19.00 CET yesterday with 9 teams in total fighting for the 100 Euro prizepot. Meanwhile we have separated the wheat from the chaff and just the best four teams are left in this double elimination tournament. Before introducing the coming match-ups I will recap some of the highlights!

The first game of the evening was Team Visual against 'xD Trickjump and although the guys around 7ele and Sebhes tried their best they were unable to hold Visual back and lost 4:0. Visual then went on against sick6 and we nearly saw,due to a superb time on Adlernest of Visual (just a little bit over 1 minute) one of the first upsets this tournament. At the end twidi and co survived and won 4:2. All other match-ups were a bit more one sided - TAG, Team Rockit and tMoe took home a more or less clear 4:0 victory in their first round matches.

Thus brought us to two really intense and fast paced upper bracket games with sick6 taking on to tMoe and Team Rockit against TAG. Both games went to thrilling decider map - Bremen_b3 and I have to admit I have never seen so close and action packed games on Bremen. Both Rockit and sick6 won at the end by beating their opponents time by just a few seconds.

Meanwhile erAse and neverbyte fought their way back in the lower bracket and were waiting for the losers of the above mentioned games.
Despite the waitingtime the Germans were able to not just surprise most of the community by taking TAG to a decider map but also to persuade them about their teamplay abilities by wining the best of 3 on Supply, Radar and Adlernest.
erAse on the other hand were not able to get the magic running and lost 4:0 to tMoe.
