ET Reborn LAN 3on3 Groups Announced

We are proud to present the 3on3 groups for the ET Reborn LAN.

After an exciting seeding tournament and much careful deliberation, we are happy to announce the 3on3 groups. Now that the groups have been published, an exact schedule for the three groups can be found here: 3on3 LAN Schedule.

We have 14 teams signed up for this format. The 14 teams are divided into two groups of 7 each. During the group stage each team will face 6 different opponents in 7 rounds. Each round will be BO1. A more detailed explanation of the 3on3 schedule can be found here: ET Reborn LAN Schedule.

Please note that teams in group A are expected to arrive before 09:00 CET at the wzzrd cafe on Friday, the 17th of April at 09:00 CET. Teams in group B are expected to arrive before 14:30 CET. The ET Reborn LAN reserves the right to change group or times, as needed.

would be cool to see the seeds cuz this is pretty unfair for the lower teams in group b!

wherefor was the seedingtournament?? seed 1 and 2 in one group?

I think group B is mostly based on teams who couldn't play in the morning. We did use the seedings, but also had to take into account who is able to play in the morning and who isn't.

To be honest, seeding for these groups don't matter too much for the format that we are using on LAN. All the teams will play against each other in the same group so that way you will determine the seeds again for playoffs. Also, all the teams will advance to the playoffs but will have to player against a "weaker" or "stronger" team depending on seed.

you're right! Still I don't really understand how the groups have been formed. The format for 3o3 is nice, therefore the groups don't really matter that much.

Sick3 didnt play and credibilies with a merc so guess they made groups considering that.

Yea the seeding was for the players but some teams did not find it important enough to make time for it. Wich ultimatily lead to these results.
