The 'Murican is moving out

To the great displeasure of myself and assuredly many others within the ET community, it must be announced that ohurcool will be stepping down from CyberGamer. He has been a league admin for over three years, becoming Game Supervisor for ClanBase, before its untimely (or predictable) death in 2013, as well as becoming the head CyberGamer ET admin in January 2014 following the league transition, which he helped to launch.

His years of incentive and contribution to the game we all love or once loved to play has mustered immense respect from me personally as a fellow admin and player. There have not been many admins to stick around and work as hard as this one has, so consistently with hardly any noticeable breaks; he remained to process thousands of support tickets and wrote hundreds of articles & newsposts collectively across ClanBase, Crossfire, GamesTV & CyberGamer. He initiated the democrew in charge of sifting through matches of suspicious players, and has banned hundreds of accounts for C&A; ever attempting to better our experience with improvements to the configs, rulesets and maplists and more recently has been shoutcasting matches.

It's been an enjoyable experience, working so close with the community for the past few years organizing cups and such. I've learned a lot and don't regret anything. Still, the time has come for me to move on. I started a new job recently, and as a result I no longer have as much time and motivation as necessary.

I won't be disappearing completely, just taking a big step back and dropping most of my commitments as an admin. Now that Season 3 has come to an end, I am officially leaving CG along with embarrassed & szczurek. My understanding is that badkip will take over the ET section unless a suitable replacement is found.

Special thanks to all my fellow admins and contributors for everything you've done and will continue to do for our game and community, especially those who work "behind the scenes" as it's far more difficult to push yourself to get things done while not being (publicly) recognized for any of it. Keep ET alive!

ohurcool will remain amongst our ranks in Crossfire & GamesTV, though nowhere near the activity he's offerred in the past. He will be letting go of all current responsibility, meaning no league related inquiries should be directed toward him from this moment on.
