Small changes might still be made to the LAN schedule. We'll keep you updated on this!
Isn't that uneven amount of teams for the brackets
e: actually trickier group than that. u need more gl son
Having specific maps at group stage gives both players and spectators more verity. It's also easier to have sorted out rather than teams accusing others of "already picking that" and then admins having to make decisions.
As for the best of 3 at group stage, it seems a little unnecessary as it'll be sorted out by points I am guessing? It's a cheap and easy way to save yourself potentially 20+ minutes each game if they are really evenly balanced.
because of the bo3, all teams play at the same time, and trust me theres not many matches where 3 maps are needed (also our lanexperience). and if it would be we got some buffer ofc! most matches wont last an hour!
different operating systems, different language on the whole computer, need to dl(install and setup the mouse/keyboard drivers and so on
getting their config copied to the correct folder, there are so many things that can actually influence the setup time
some people are just like plug&pown...some are like me, plug&suck, but since I'm not getting better when seting up for an hour, I just don't care ;D
Guess the drivers may be true, eventho I never had any issues apart from the shit Razer drivers I have now for my mouse which constantly want fucking updates and if I don't update the mouse is just a fuckfest lol (would probably just take my old Zowie to the lan so I wouldn't have this shit problems)...
And config lol, you actually just need your binds and to know like 10commands :D
I love my Razer hardware, but I agree that Synapse isn't easy to handle at times, we will see how I do this time (gotta find out my login lol)
For the config part, my config is full of little bind stuff, which is probably not needed for the most part, but well I got used to it, so I wanna use it
Some people are really picky about their config...but copying it to the etprofolder shouldn't actually be hard, but some people...
Believe me, I've been to a few lans now (like 5 I think, while playing only twice), I've had my share of babysitting people on their setup!
Yeah, Synapse is pain in the ass, it's nice to get the updatesm but annoying that it fucks up the mouse until you update it :/ Thank fuck I registered it few weeks ago so I remember the email and stuff, haha :D
I just can't imagine someone being so helpless with ET configs!!! My ET config consists of around 3k words in total, but still too easy to get it work, would take me 10seconds lol
cool that you come :)
