RTCW: New Year 3on3 Onedaycup

After hosting a small 6v6 and 3v3 one day cup at the end of the year we are back with more RTCW!
Next week sunday we will host a 3v3 onedaycup. Stream and shoutcasting will be provided by MerlinatoR, who is joined by Sabo. The "Saboteur" is making a return to Return to Castle Wolfenstein shoutcasting ;)!

Aiming towards getting 8 teams in total. Players looking for a team or trying to form one I would suggest on joining up on our RTCW Discord Channel. The communications during the cup will also happen there!

We are planning to host a onedaycup atleast once a month for the next 6 months. In February there will be a 6v6 cup again. There are also plans to do small draftcups on a fixed day in the week to let old and newschoolers get used to the game.

- Teams will be seeded according to predicted strength
- Discord is the official channel for communication during the cup
- Each team need to have a captain who must communicate with other team captain to arrange game. There is a channel on discord specifically for this
- Available servers are listed at faq on discord
- All shoutcasted games will be on a specific server. If your match is being shoutcasted you need to join a specific server, this will be communicated.

Map Rules:
- Map pick process: Team A Elims, Team B Elims, Team B Picks First Map, Team A Picks Second map - Remaining map decider if needed. Team A is highest seed, Team B lowest seed
- Map pool: mp_ice, te_frostbite, te_escape2, mp_beach, braundorf_b5

Game Rules:
- UB Semi-Finals, UB Finals, LB Finals and Grand Finals will be 2 SW rounds on each map, other matches only 1 SW round
- If after 2 maps there is no clear winner, the decider map gets played.
- No weaponboosting, no making doors unable to be opened, no revive blocking etc
- A player can only play for 1 team maximum, unless opponent team agrees
- Max 4 players per team on roster

We are very happy to announce that we now include the option for you to support our community via donations!
There are a few reasons we’ve decided to implement this:

As it stands, some of our community members are paying out of their own pockets to keep servers running for us all to play on. We’d like to ease their burden a bit by giving them part of the collected donations. Furthermore, RtCW’s current state of activity is unfortunately rather low. If offering prize money can create incentive to play, we’ll be happy to do so!
Lastly, our cup’s casters put in a lot of time and effort to bring the game home to you in style!
We too wish to give them a share of the donations for everything they do to make this happen.

A breakdown of how your donations will be used:
Our first priority is to cover the cost of the servers. Once we’ve attained that we’ll use the following percentages to divide the remaining donations:
Coverage of server costs: 40 eur

Streamers: 20%

Cup participants:
First place: 50%
Second place: 30%
