Doctors Return!

mAx's internet searching skills brought to his attention one classic line from 2002 on the very day that the Doctors have returned to competitive action, unfortunately in CounterStrike.

It was this line back in March of 2002 from CPL Director Angel Munoz that saw the Doctors chose playing Wolfenstein proffesionally over CounterStike;

I do agree with you that RTCW is an interesting and viable game and our announcement today should prove that we are open to the possibility of using it at the Summer Championship Event.

Wiseguy from the Doctors followed that statement with:

"RTCW is just an overall better game, and the way CS1.4 is looking our interest is lacking. We started the clan primarily for counter-strike, and who knows maybe one day we'll get back into it. Farewell CS, hello RTCW. " -- wISeGUy on the Doctors's Website.

The side went on to glory in Quakecon, but the game was never used in the CPL. Today the side returned to aim for glory and steal Mr. Munoz's money, this time in CS. They have joined Quakecon ET champions, Check6 and have surprisingly kept Wombat in CS rather than Quake 3 for the World Tour in 2007 despite him being a former CPL Q3 champion. Doctors won the GGL's DigitalLife F.E.A.R TDM tournament in October.
