After having the Outpost on Fire LAN in Antwerp, Belgium the CoD2 community seems to be ready for the recent LAN announcements.

As we all know Crossfire LAN will be held at 2. - 3. September with a couple of top-teams. Additionally dutch LAN organizer Netgamez has announced its autumn edition LAN event, which will feature higher prize purses in the Counter-Strike and Call of Duty 2 competitions. With over $5000 for Counter Strike at stake and $1500 for Call of Duty 2, it is the first time Netgamez really has increased its prize money to attract some top teams to compete in Nieuwegein halfway October.

Just a few days ago some news were announced concerning the milk.LAN, which will take place in a LAN center in Paris. The organisers have invited ten french and ten other european teams, which already have accepted this invite. Those 20 teams will fight for 1000€ (prizepurse maybe will increase after further talks to sponsors and businesses). This Non-BYOC LAN is taking place at 28th and 29th of October.

Outpost on Fire LAN - Groups

In about a week Belgium TeK-9s Outpost on Fire LAN is going to start. 24 europen teams will fight for 2750€ cash and 2500€ hardware. Today the organisers announced the groups and the first three maps for the upcoming event.

Unfortunately Europe Check-Six cannot attend due to a lack of support by their organisation. As a result Germany Mortal-Sin will replace them and Finland Insignia Cadre will be moved to high seed. Furthermore Italy TooEasy will be moved to the mid seed.

The groups were randomly put together (each groups contains 1 high seed, 1 mid seed and 2 low seeds):
