I use inverted!

Out of interest, the guys using inverted, did you used to play flight sims/tie fighter games with the joystick? Every member of my family who has played an fps game has used inverted because its more natural, I guess its because we used to use joysticks for some games..

I use inverted because to look up you have to tilt your head backwards. Simple as that. Besides, not inverted sucks donkeyballs.

i played much Star Wars X-Wing Alliance (with joystick ofc) but that rly got nothing to do with fps games. In flight combat inverted Y axis is natural, but not in fps games. ofc i dont care whether you use it or not, but dont say its natural :)

in ET a game where you're often having to aim down at people non inverted is theoretically superior.
(then again it's all preference)

ET is one of the most horizontal aiming only game :l
toxic and cooller both use inverted in quake

Yeah quake definitely cause people are flying all over and around you aiming vertically is definitely something I found difficult at first playing CPMA, in ET though proners, crouchers, often aiming on hills down at people on ice etc :)
