would be stupid imo + it would request an enourmous amount of time to give 30 clans a qualifier from which 15 are useless anyway
This time, Nellie is the donkey. I vote Nellie.
For example impact. They haven't played any official afaik, but they still should be in, in my opinion.

Omfg, are you kidding me? First of all, I have nothing against all the clans which i'm gonna say now, I just wanna say my thoughts about this.
Good direct invites imo:
- Dignitas
- zeroPoint
- aMenti
- NETRUNNERS
- 141
- polar eSports (cdap)
To start with, Impact Gaming. As I said earlier, I don't have anything against you guys, you are a great team tbh. But Why the fuck are they getting a direct invite? they didn't played _any_ official yet. Last CPC you invited parodia aswell, also then they didn't played any official. N1 thinking toss/adacore. Murso, a mix formed 2 / 3 weeks before the LAN. They played EC, but not with the same line up. Quite fucked up that you are inviting a mix and not a clan. One soldier, again a 'mix'. They didn't played any official yet nor they proved themselves yet. It's really sad... Oh yeah, you also said that the teams that played at CPC 1 had an advantage, we, cZar ( me, snot, dNzl and lio) played at CPC 1. Did we get any advantage? NO. Just so fucking funny that you are taking a mix above a clan. This is really not fair. just my 2 cents.
Btw Impact/Murso/One soldier. You don't have to reply to this comment, It hasn't anything to do with you.
(also to my bad jokes)
* Every player from CPC1 that signed up (afaik) got an invite or qualifier. Around 33 of the 48 players from CPC1 signed up in total.
* Every player who was in the CPC1 final (Night, urtier, senji, tekoa, tiigeri, mAx, twidi, lettu, reload) got a direct invite.
* The top six teams in this season's EuroCup all got direct invites.
Just in case you wanted to know, this is a list of the ET teams that signed up but didn't make the qualifiers (there were 42 signups in total for ET, 8 for RtCW and 41 for CoD2):
Infrag, venue, division, doll, exotic island, delusion, hardMethod, inFlux, sadness, oxid, bangelijk, symphh, lithium, pride, routiners, massacre, vaud, GiB, L-st.
Yes, yes, obviously quite critical, but that's what lead to my (minor) comment.
Fear Factory didn't attend CPC1, didn't make it out of the groups in EuroCup.
You'll notice that every team directly invited (except one4one, thanks lettu) either (a) made the top 6 in this season's EuroCup and/or (b) has players from the final of CPC1. A very simplistic representation of the very complex process used to select teams, but a nice one.
