Well, with firmware version 1.60 FFVIII will have some minor problems and GTA:SA has some bigger ones.

There isnt any remakes, so dont get your hopes up with better graphics. PS1/PS2-games are emulated in Europe, which creates some problems with certain games. Problems are usually related to FMV's. Check complete compatibility list for firmware 1.60 from http://faq.eu.playstation.com/bc/

You are both very very wrong about this subject. You'd better stop there before making erm.. complete clowns out of yourself.

Final Fantasy coming to PSP include:

FFVII: Crisis Core. It tells us the story of Zack and Sephiroth etc. It is an action-rpg, kinda like Kingdom Hearts for PS2.

Final Fantasy Tactics: Shishi Sensou. Complete remake of Final Fantasy Tactics, originally released for PS1 in 97 (JAP) and 98 (US).

And then theres two improved ports of FFI and II coming under the name of FFI/II: Anniversary Edition (Of course because of the 20th anniversary of the mentioned games.)

For PS3, 2 Final Fantasy titles are coming. FFXIII, which is the next "true" Final Fantasy-title, coming in 2008/2009 and a sister game FFXIII: Versus, which is a Final Fantasy-game mixed with Kingdom Hearts gameplay (same team making it as the one that made KH).

Other Final Fantasy-titles include Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings (DS), FFT Advance2 (DS), FFXIII: Agito (MOBILE), FF Crystal Chronicles for both Wii and DS. There was also a FFVII techdemo for PS3, but it was only a TECHDEMO, not a trailer of a remake. In similar fashion as FF8 dancescene was for PS2, rendered in real time.

Square-Enix are said to be intressed in FFVII-remake for PS3, but no further noticed about it have been made, nor any real plans for it either.

Non exists but the making of Modchips arent the REAL problem. The problem lays in Blu-Ray: Are you willing to buy a Blu-Ray burner for 1000$+ just to copy some PS3-games, that most likely wont even work with your console? Do you really want to download +25gb games?
