The multi million selling franchise is about to deliver another huge update with the release of Grand Theft Auto 4.
It's being described as the most important game of 2008 and is expected to be the best selling. So how many Crossfire members will be paying some cold hard cash for one of the best games out there?

Will you be buying GTA IV?
Yes got my console ready
Yes, buying a console now
Yes, waiting for PC version
Will wait till reviews are out
No!
but hey, I you didn't saw it it doesn't matter
but imo there is one source site who started with the poll and the rest are ripoffs :DD
I remember playing gta3 forever on pc, being able to listen to your own songs whikle cruising made ita very enjoyable experience.
blowing up things was nice too. ;)
Anyway yeah I voted PC version, personally I can wait and unlike most in this poll, I'll actually buy it.
PC is better I feel purely because on PS people will tend to use the auto aim for gunning people down, hardly enjoyable for me ;) and like Ive said - your own mp3's (may not be an issue for 360 or ps3, maybe they have onboard mp3 sotrage - no clue) but custom vehicle skins etc is always nice aswell - although I didnt get into that side of things much.
arguements about platform are all good but its easy to say gta4 will be a big hit.
It must have just been the sheer amount of time I've spent playing the games but everything on the ps2, like all the controls and everything felt so natural for that game. When I tried converting to a mouse/keyboard it just didn't work.
Although when it comes to actual FPS games I'll be the first to say that it's PC or nothing. Put me against a xbox 360 user who is playing cod4 with me on the PC and they'll get bummed :P
Oh should have voted Nope instead of Waiting for PC release.
My bad.

in the meantime ill play it on my mate's ps3
everyone i played with online had the same problem
It's not like "this kind" of game is some random fighting/platformer/jrpg console genre beeing played on pc keyboard.
Maybe GTA1&2 is not the best choice to play on PC. But 3rd is.
Just seems weird to try and do it with a keyboard and mouse. You've then gotta make sure your PC is able to run the game as well as it runs on the consoles.
As for performance, as GTA3 was very low on system requirments, run smooth on my OLD computer (unless you have some OFFICE monster or just got fucked by your PC vendor, but if you have a slight knowledge about PC's, more than casual Xbox/pc user, you are set to go).
For new GTA, xbox360 is way behind new PC's on its performance, tho because it's a console a lot of optimisations may step in, but still, unless rockstar fucks up something, it should be working on same framerates (with improved gfx?) with supercheap PC parts like 9600GT/8200C2D/2GbRam.
Crossfire doesn't know shit about videogames
but no :D
(I bought ps2 only for gt4, never played anything else on it)
and the reason they delay the PC version is so people who want to pirate the game have to wait and usually some will be impatient and just go out and buy it :)
Would rather wanna play it on a ps3
I've been relieving boredom at work by reading reviews etc and it sounds amazing. My 360 will be getting some serious usage come the 1st of May when it's delivered :D
ordered the limited edition months ago.
