Automatic Punkbuster screenshots have been used in our match configs for quite some time now, how do they affect? an extreme example can be seen here:

Voted yes, remove it.
tbh.. i dont feel so many lags cause of pbss... only sometimes (rly sometimes.. not often at all) some little freeze..
edit: i dont see my name @ etbot list.
I even experience lag because of it, and i have 1,5mbit up .. :X
when pb got updated, people started to lag
it wont take that long for them to realise that their software gives ppl lag after latest updates, so they will fix it asap i hope (im sending ticket atm)

anyone who compete in high lvl, if he have any hacks it would be undetected with pbss blocker :~>
therefor the pbss in the server config is useless :d
+ this pbss lags will disepear and soon maybe anti3 will make et more cheat free.
But this one was awesome!
I mean, we've played this game for 5 years, lmao and it didn't really bother anyone till now, so retards forgetting to turn on pbss_off in their cheats will still be caught because of it :)
And it still helps bustin some idiot cheaters + it hasn't bothered anyone till now, so just let it be.
+ it's same for everyone.
I thought the only problem is that they are turned on. But in case they could be smaller, only the size should be changed.

I think 400x204 will be just fine, that was used before and worked without causling lag imo ^^
Turn them off or use the old settings again.. 400x204 is enough. Why do we need screenies of 640x320, while the chances of busting someone with it are very low :X
There's already a thread about it @ GV, but ofcourse they're not giving useful replies, they also deleted my example pbss because they don't want pbguids on public :P
btw, they use 320x240 for pbss @ CoD4, wtf?
just make the shooted area a bit smaller.
imo the GV options are very big/huge.
They cause a lot lag, so better turn them off. Manual pb shots should be still possible though.
Well, I was playing with himself in that very war where he got caught, so yeah I don't know that occasion at all "xD"
razz used to be our 3rd guy in defix 3on3 that time, so that ruckus affected us big time
And seems like u don't get the point in here. Razz wasn't busted for automatic shots by pb. Pb didn't even take such shots back then. He was busted by chaoz and other streetfighter guys' manually taken pb shots. And no one is obviating those shots in here. We want to remove these automatic shots that no one even checks ever but still they cause a lot lag.
I dont Mind/Care
The only downside to turning them off is
- we won't bust cheaters who are too dumb to turn off antipbss
- we won't bust rivatunerers
else you got more stuff like i forgot it and so on.
and personaly i find or have the feeling that it makes me lag when i play
The new kids in et gownload oftend old buts or pbss busting bots with the green and red mans and so on so keep the ss.
cause a bust with pbss is hard prove of cheating and there are then no but's.

I still dont get why we used punkbuster on cdc, atleast it made me lag like hell.
we can play delivery again and try without pb ^^
take a medic pack and you do it ...

In any case that's what this automatic feature was designed for in my opinion. So I see no valid reason not to get rid of it in competition matches, but still use the manual cmd or rcons to get some pbss when the doubt arises!
The avi is supposed to show the lag caused by pb, not prove that someone's cheating...
Well, I'm not going to be there this year, I'm on a student exchange program, and consequently I am in America right now. But see you next year :P (2009/2010 university year)
