Just over two weeks ago, we posted about our Rockit TV Frag of The Week segment (read the original newspost here). Now, there was a lot of scepticism of whether or not this would be successful, and it would seem that that wasn't quite the case, but it could have been better! We received enough demos to choose from and Rockit TV's very own sYmph has made the final edit!
We received submissions from a reassuring amount of players but some demos weren't cut or did not include a frag that we felt earned a spot in the clip, or simply that we just received better frags from other players. Visit the Team-Rockit Homepage to vote or leave a comment on which frag you think should be this episode's best frag, the winner will be the person with the most votes.
Eventually, from the shortlist, our moviemakers picked out the 5 players they wanted to include in this first edition Enemy Territory edition of Rockit TV's Frag of The Week. The 5 players selected were:
Jere - from OVERLOAd Gaming
KamZ - from Colt 45 And 2 ZigZags
Lepari - from Fintastic5
mAus - from OVERLOAd Gaming
Sqzz - from Impact Gaming
Rockit TV will be returning with another episode of FOTW very soon, it's down to YOU to send in your demos. After reviewing the process for the frist episode, we've decided that there will be no rules against PCW frags, frags older than a week and that you can also submit demos of your favourite players and friends if you simply want to see awesome frags. You are still required to provide the pre-cut demo and a .txt file with a brief description of the frag you are submitting.
Summary of requirements:
- Cut your demo before sending (use UV Media Manager for ease)
- Submit your .rar / .zip file with a text file describing your submitted frag to seanza[at]team-rockit.com
- Include "Rockit FOTW - Your nickname" as the email subject

Like movie, not some 1 min shit :-)
- Although the video is 50fps, it looks like the names are 25fps or something because they're really stuttery/laggy.
- What's with the noise effect at 0:39? What is its purpose? :P
- What resolution did you cap at? Is the gun really that pos or did you crop it? Way too low imo.
- The mAus clan doesn't completely come clear. A lot of the text and popups need much more attention to detail with regards to their fading away and such. The center text looks better if you fade it away rather than cut it off suddenly. :)
