I didn't really like the way the quality turned out on own3d.tv, so I'm uploading a higher quality version in the hope that the final result will look better.

Ahh RTCW, I can only observe it needs faster reaction times than ET, but less tracking. Timing/teamplay remains the same (though RTCW hitboxes are quite weird so reviving is likely more effective). Good movie though, crisp aiming.

looks so easy to aim in this game when seeing fragmovies, but when I play it myself I cant hit shit (too high spread or w/e)

My personal experience when it comes to the spread is that people have adapted to crouch at times during a gun fight in order to reset the spread a bit.
Or, shoot, retreat to let the spread subside and pop out to shoot again. It may also help to play with crosshair pulse when you're a beginner in order to identify when the spread starts.
Spread can sometimes actually help you in close combat, let's say you're in a gun fight but your aim might be slightly on the body, spread kicks in after a few bullets and you might earn yourself an accidental headshot.
Note that unlike et the thompson and the mp40 are not the same, the mp40 is slightly faster and more accurate, the thompson is more powerfull.
There's also the sten, but it's mostly only used for long range because it's really accurate but it overheats when you rapid fire 8 bullets I believe, bursting is definitely the key here.
Allied medics and engineers always have a thompson, the axis equivalent have an mp40. Lieutenants (or fieldops in et) and soldiers have an option to choose their weapon.

Some time ago I was playing et on a daily basis with Abort, he mentioned that I was moving too much for et. I realised than that I was automaticly compensating for the spread that was present in rtcw, however not in et :).

Hope this helped, and if anyone is willing to give rtcw a try, you're very welcome to come, we have a small community but in my opinion it consists of very kind (watch out for Sipperi though, he mad) and skilled people :). Games usually start at 21:00 and can sometimes last till 2:00 in the night at #rtcw.wars.
