I completed this movie a month or two after Artstar 2.0, showcasing frags by KareN from 2014 and years prior. This is his first movie ever and it was his personal request to be not too serious a movie (hitsounds, ingame cfg + music). I hope you enjoy it!

Seems more like a high r_ambientscale rather than gammabug, which is impossible to do on demos.

Tried those already and although long-distance visibility was great, player models lacked brightness in close-combat. Config used in this fragmovie seems to somehow bypass that issue.

Didn't like the music that much, but music gets better for the movies when it's synced properly
For me it looked like you didn't put much time into this :o) And why do you use different cfg when you are doing movies for someone else? Your own configs are actually nice, but these over brighted are just bad, also kills the colors, everything just looks so grey and booring

this movie took me overall probably ~3 days (recording, dubbing, compiling, rendering, encoding & uploading)- I had no intention of syncing or making the configs look pretty, this is just some edited version of Netherlands

modus.cfg. as for my old configs.. imo it's better to let the style vary a little, even if it means using ingame configs like this from time to time. eg. I used to enjoy those boring looking movies from lettu, slarto, ensam, joshua, nuggan (though admittedly some of them used darker configs). I still have the settings for my last movie and previous ones, but I wouldn't want to do the same for every player I make a movie for. :P

anyway thanks for feedback, I doubt I'll do another movie with this style, but since there aren't many movies posted any more and there are so many players with demos, I wouldn't mind doing more of these effortless fragmovies if it means a couple people can look back on them years later!

image1 will take a lot longer, since the guy has ~300 frags, it's just a 'leftovers' movie (in my profile: 25% completed (~05:52))
image2 would probably take me a week or two of effort, considering there is some syncing in that one (in my profile: 20% completed (~01:24))

i wanna have same headset please let me know where u bought it -- u are running towards the gate and u are reloading at the same time this makes a lot of noise so its impossible to hear someone behind the corner and the one infront of the gate is jumping so he is in the air makes no noise

Nice movie Artstar :D I love when u put some 'retarded' music and in-game config. By retarded i mean its not so serious and then again, its very enjoyable to watch :P

that's the aim ;P I wish more people would do movies themselves like that, I always enjoyed seeing those on a weekly basis years ago. :)

not sure what you mean :O I usually hate to see recoil, but I never remove it. even in the very first frag of the movie (vs high5 stexx) his view swings back as soon as he receives the headshot :p
