good frags and a simple but effective movie, but seemed a little safe moviemaking wise for someone whos known in the movie making scene.

quite disapointing editingwise, already used music, only synched on the most obvious parts without any tension built up (no shoutcasting parts, no really close moments of what i could judge neather, just randomkillingsprees).

Just slightly edited demo+mp3, nowhere near zaigon or even the impressionstrailer.

The first song reminds me of the best movie in ET!

Well, it looked really simple. Could've needed some more editing and maybe at least a couple of well placed effects here and there. Guess there was some soundsync, didn't really concentrate on it all the time, noticed on some points tho.

Frags were great, I guess, although it could've been called just rELOAD the Movie, with some friends having a small part in it. :p Some clips were a bit long and/or would've needed some fast forwarding or cutting, especially the vehicle parts with a tank just standing still for seconds doing nothing.

Dunno about the config, but it looked a way too dark on some points for me, and 42MB/min for that quality at 25 fps is definitely too much. Although I admit, I have no experience of how hard ET:QW content is to compress.

You didn't quite manage to impress me with the originality of your music choices, was a bit downside for me hearing that same "GO GO GO" for a dozenth time or so and same applies to Path. :p

Cams were mostly nice and well placed, bringing some variety.

Could've expected a bit more but it was a good job nevertheless. The second best ET:QW movie I've seen. :>


Edit: Gotta say I really like the look of close combat scenes in ET:QW, but the vehicle parts just ruin the atmosphere totally. All that speed and excitement there is in close combat, it's totally gone when the vehicles come around.

Sorry but even if you've done a good job you CAN'T work on ET:QW.

I mean this game suck so fucking hard and you can't edit that much and add effects because this game already got a lot of them. You've tried to make cams, but I think that was useless.

I'm really disappointed you wasted your time on it, even if frags look impressive and that you are a talented moviemaker.

Now what I hope is that RTCW2 will be much better than ET:QW, and that you will continue your amazing work on a game that really deserve it.

duh, why is the crosshair movement that choppy. It's the fucking game or not humanised aimfov 20? I loled hard, if i saw this kind of aim in ET id say aimbot without any second thoughts :D

Allthough i dont really like the game (sluggish mouse and jumping should be reserved for games like Quake), this was an enjoyable movie. Reload his aim still makes me seasick :D

I really like the part where u switched to the apocalyptica song and u saw that bigass vehicle taking out those guys at obj (dno what it was)

Well, usually i don't like to write reviews, but i know you like to have some feedback so:

I was expecting a litle bit more, specially after the Quakewars Impression Trailer.


Positive points:
(+) Config, sharpen textures, quality
(+) Frags
(+) Cameras
(+) 3:12 mins (Really nice )
(+) Colors
(+) 2:25 mins(Very nice too)
(+) RELOAd frags :D
(+) Some well edited moments


Negative points:
(-) Too many RELOAd frags
(-) Sometimes its too dark
(-) Missing some teamplay/shoutcast moments
(-) Music (eventhough its personal taste)
(-) Some boring moments (Tank!)
(-) Quakewars dof seems bad on movie :<
(-) Some hitsounds seems to be out of sync :X


This movie is far away from what you can do. Zaigon had a better edit/sync comparing to this one. You could have done it better.

Overall i would give a 8.5 or maybe a 9, just because its missing some sync/edit.

Good job, congrats, but now comeback to ET.

Liked the frags, hated the rest.

some good frags, missed allot of teams though .
music was horrible & some tunes are overused .
sometimes I couldnt read the names of some teams (blame my lcd), but a good moviemaker should care about this.
the hitsounds were totally out of sync .
editing was ok, but I expected more from u hannes .
good cams, a lot of action, but nothing special imo ...

question: wasn`t the quality of qw:impressions "much" bedder ? (i might be wrong)
